  4. Yes matey, think about it, as the castle nut is tightened it must pull the stem upwards against the raised edge which stops it pulling through
  5. they are all Suzuki.. the gold ones i the middle are K7/8.with radial callipers. resprung for a fatbloke, 1.1 kg/mm springs
  6. In the info section there are some tables about swapping front ends, I was tidying the garage the other day and realised what a hoarder I am. I ned to get rid of some of them, Any of these can be made to fit..
  7. 2.3 x 87 mm OD almost impossible to find, ive used 2.5 x 87 OD from simply bearings £4 for 2 instead of £35 for the kit form Mr Suzuki.. Just checked they have gone up!! Now £4.14 for 2....

  9. Proper slingshot USD front end, ive got a shiny polished set of 750 forks and yokes and proper Nissin 4 pots. also got an gsxr1100 usd set of forks and yokes as well

  12. Gentlemen,, Anyone know where to get these?? the little rubber seals from the inlet stub pipes, 36 mm Mikkeys from a 88 750 J, cant find them on the parts list???

  14. That's what I did to the 1100 engine in me 'Arris, mk2 b6 loom CDI and 1200 clocks, the back plates are the same part number 1200/600. Clocks so the red line was right for a 1200, it all worked fine, all the other stuff was mk2 and all plugged in, switches, alternator, neutral switch
  15. Unplug it and ignore it It dosent make a farts worth of differance
  16. How thick is a base gasket?? use 2?? or get a compression lowering base spacer like the Turbo blokes use.
  17. Easiest thing to do is to fit a slightly longer push rod, being hydraulic it shouldn't make any difference as its self adjusting, but i had similar issue with a power screen motor once. Turned out I had mixed up the rods and the one in it was too short, i put the correct one in and all was well. worth a try.
  18. in answer to the origional question there isn't a separate loom, there are 2 blue plugs attatched to the clocks that plug straight into the loom
