Wagola Posted July 19, 2020 Posted July 19, 2020 Was just trying to see if it had been done and what engine(s) were an easier fit. Then get all the parts that I will need ready for a winter project. I have a Magnum 4 to rebuild before I can start on the 400/600/750. Quote
dupersunc Posted July 19, 2020 Posted July 19, 2020 There's one being built in the project section by @GSXR4814I think. Quote
Hoomietune Posted July 21, 2020 Posted July 21, 2020 There was a read in an early street fighter mag - or back street heroes , The early BSH - fighter mags sold 10 times over • Bottom frame rails removed • Frame re- fabricated front top brace 2 x small legs of box beam with lugs from new front top brace to front engine mount • The Bike was yellow Quote
Tony Nitrous Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 (edited) Thread from the dead ! Just reading up on the 400’s. I know very little about them but was given a rolling frame and tank for free. Being a bit of a hoarder I couldn’t say no. Being a 1984 I’m assuming it’s the original GSXR. Swiss Toni Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 It’s going to be an interesting project. Something that doesn’t crop up too often. Keep it on the back burner, simmering gently! 1 Quote

Jade Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 I am busy with the conversion as we speack. With no clue as to how it was done but just going for it anyways .It requires a lot of modifications as none of the engine mounts are the same and the exhaust outlets are dead inline with the Frame but can modify the header .The lower tank needs cutting as it hits the head .This far I have put a K6 1000 shock and swing arm and put the 600 bandit motor in .still have loads to do.want to load pics but not sure how to do it Quote
