  1. Sorry Viz, ian and jim run 400cc motors bored out to 500cc. Unless anyone knows different?
  2. Welcome Jonny! They're a good bunch on here, and you'll learn a ton of useful stuff to help you keep that slabby running for many years to come!
  3. That's stunning steve! And as it happens i did exactly the same thing after our chat the other night!
  4. Classy build indeed, hats off to you sir!

    new carbs

Got a nice set of VMs that have been thoroughly cleaned and are ready to go if you're interested? Got em on Eblag for £300, but i'll let them go for £250 to a fellow oldskooler!
  6. You'll not top jason's stuff mate, it fits perfectly and it's top quality! Here's one i built a few years ago!
  7. I'll be along on my latest bargain buy, a sheepfrightered Slingy 750 that's been owned by a tasteless fucker with a penchant for fake carbon sheet............but my mate Ryan will be bringing the Yorkshire Teapot 6/12 along too so at least one of us won't be laughed at!
  8. Yes, i braced mine! All i did was cut n' shut some 25mm box, and brush finished it afterwards.
  9. Just had a look in the manual, pilots are 32.5 so go up to 35s, float height is 14.6mm + or - 1mm.
  10. The cheap Eblag filters cause nowt but grief on carbs, much better to buy some decent Pipercross ones as it will run miles better. Go up one size on the pilots (usually in 2.5 increments so if you have 15s go up to 17.5) and try a main jet of around 125/130s as a starting point. With the bigger pilot jet your low speed running should improve massively, put the mixture screws at 1 1/2 turns from seated and work from there! Hope that helps!
  11. Hi PaulM, my humble offering if it's of any use to you? I realise there's bigger/faster/louder bikes that offer more of a visual appeal but it's here if you need it!

    OSS party

Ha!! Tom 'rebooting!' Hardly surprising as i barely saw him without a beer for the whole weekend!
  13. Happy to put this old shitter up for display again, but if you have better bikes for this year then i won't be offended.......honest!!
  14. It was something i fancied doing last year, entries had to be in super early (march 23rd at midnight!) to ensure a place but it was well worth it!
  15. MFP did me proud, no dramas, and a fifth place to boot!
  16. Dirtquake 2017, team eyup yorkiemura came, saw, entered and didn't fall down! I entered on a mate of mine's ratted 750 teapot, stuck some cheapo wets on it and despite never having ridden on a dirt oval i didn't come last despite it's bulk! Any one from here attend? If so, pics or vids would be mucho appreciated!
  17. Yeahhhhhh!!!!!!!!! That's made my day mate, cracking footage, and i didn't realise how much i was holding you up!
  18. Brilliant day out! Great to catch up with the World 125cc commuter CHAMP, (yoshijonny) Tom Davidson, Fatblokeonbandit and Mean Bean! Plus someone parked the splendid looking GS1200SS with our steeds!
