I still have the stock front engine mounting bolt as supplied by Harris and it's a single really long bolt. I can't remember off-hand whether the oil cooled motor allows this though....

Harris super bike yoke came with tapered or conical bolts which I like the look of & I suppose it they are all like that on the bike it's a weight saving programme as well. After a couple of hours on the lathe I had another 16 of them. Machined up another 18 Allen head bolts on the lathe to a conical shape like I did the others, polished them up as well. These ones are for the carb rubbers & the sprocket case. Wouldn't a kinky rod give a more positive change as then the spacer becomes redundant?

Maybe will see how this works first. Thinking about it a kinyey rod may have more flex.

Found some b12 airbox rubbers in my stash of bits so am going to use these instead of the alloy pipe. Shaped another 14 alen head bolts up for the 1127 sump. Only oil cooler I could get to fit is a Gsx600f cooler which will hold 250ml of oil. Planing on fitting a head cooler upfront as well, think I can squeeze A b12 cooler in behind the nose cone which holds 300ml of oil. Quite by chance I noticed that the Torques fittings I got for the cam cover fit the b12 head cooler :banana:

Also have various an6 & an8 oil pipes knocking about, 4 m16xan8 adaptor fittings turned up in the post this week for the teapot 600 oil cooler & sump. Have ordered some 120 degree black fittings as well.
