RFtrackman Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 (edited) Well the winter was really a non event, just one really long autumn I'd say.... but the transformation of the RF900 from soggy sports tourer in to a pukka track tool continued regardless. Below are a few pics of that transformation. The inspiration for the bike is really to show what a fantastic sports bike the RF900 could have been if Suzuki had not deemed it a cheap parts bin hack and scuppered any chance of it gaining popularity. I think it,s come out quite nicly and it seems more than capable of mixing it up the modern machines as it handles as good as any race bike I've ridden. Let me know your thoughts... Danm54 Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Had an RF6 as my first bike so have a little soft spot for them. That looks ace though and I bet it surprises a few on the track. Quote
caferacerdan Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 bike looks mint! some good action shots there too! Quote
Leblowski Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 After reading and seeing this the rf900 goes up a few points in my list of cool bikes. cracking Quote

KATANAMANGLER Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 I've just bought a minty low milage RF900 (the soggy touring version) as an every day ride. Remind me not to read your build thread. I may I might end up blowing my slabby track bike fund in favour of de-soggifying it 3 Quote
badgerkdd Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Thats very cool, would imagine its fairly unusual at track days too, always a bonus . Quote

Uitenhage Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 WOW, this is really neat! The RF base is actually very good, with loads of potential. Very well done. Quote
Gammaboy Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 Who the heck does a race seat for the RF? I reckon that's the only one I've ever seen! Quote
