RF900 race bike has it's first shake down at Cadwell Park

Well the winter was really a non event, just one really long autumn I'd say.... but the transformation of the RF900 from soggy sports tourer in to a pukka track tool continued regardless.  Below are a few pics of that transformation. The inspiration for the bike is really to show what a fantastic sports bike the RF900 could have been if Suzuki had not deemed it a cheap parts bin hack and scuppered any chance of it gaining popularity.

I think it,s come out quite nicly and it seems more than capable of mixing it up the modern machines as it handles as good as any race bike I've ridden.

Let me know your thoughts...

I've just bought  a minty low milage RF900 (the soggy touring version) as an every day ride. Remind me not to read your build thread. I may I might end up blowing my slabby track bike fund in favour of de-soggifying it:)
