Gsx1100f lh output bearing

As theses bearings are no longer available from Suzuki (part number 09262-25103)

Has anyone found a replacement or other ways to replace the bearing?

Short answer ... no! I rebuilt an 1100 motor for Jeb on here. Same problem. Loads of people advertise them, but when you call them up, it's Not in Stock. We finally found one in Oz, but when it arrived it was the wrong bearing in the right box! I suppose,  if you could get the correct size, and have a very good friend with a lathe, you may be able to machine a groove for the locating ring, and drill a hole for the peg. Very hard material! I've wondered if Bearing Fit on a non standard bearing would be strong enough to locate it?

Yes, I was thinking the same but wounded if the bandit 12 or gsxr bearings are the same size but without the groove or pin?

Can't remember what the bearing was like on the last b12 engine I did.

Just been playing around on parts lists and Suzuki used the same bearing for the lh output shaft on

Gsxr1100ghj

Gsxr1100k

Gsx1100f

Not looked at the latter gsxr1100

It may well be cheaper/easier to swap the gearbox with a good secondhand replacement. Also, has anyone asked Nova gearboxes what they use? They definitely offer items for big oilcooled Suzukis.

Standard ballbearing 6305 N C3, SKF if wanting better quality. It not have pin, but when I have using standard N bearings without pin I have put Loctite 638 or equivalent on the other half of the engine block.

Yes, it's on multiple fitments. But, the bearing is NLA,no matter what it's fitted to. Believe me, I've explored all  avenues!

@imagohas mate with a spark erodea that could put the groove and pin hole in a new bearing.

I think I'm right in saying that you can get bearings with the groove but not the pin. If you can then Mike can bore for the pin and I'm pretty sure I've got some of the 2mm pins.

GSXR Brg is 17 or 19mm wide

Blandit output bearing is 21.5mm wide  and nr £200 from Zuki Dealer

i,ve used the bearing Ian linked without issues :tu

Later "WC" gsxr uses the blandit brg
