Bubba1135 Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Finally ended up with a 12 Bandit, bought off a member on the old forum, he's had it nearly 20 years and it ended up a a kinda rat/rally bike. Have taken some of the stuff off and will tweak it a bit but generally just want to kick about on it and not worry bout polishing and shite like that. Have got most of the original bits, headlight etc. If nothing else it's a donor engine for my EFE if needed. Just been for a blast out on some of the local country roads and it's a fun to hoon about on. 7

Finchyboy123 Posted November 6 Posted November 6 Every1 loves a bandit deep down, ive had several and even bought 1 back twice!! 1
Tony Nitrous Posted November 6 Posted November 6 (edited) I did my time on Bandits when they were the “new thing”, put nitrous on one, then I moved on to modern, faster, more powerful, better handling bikes… .…… then I bought another old Mk-1. I’ve always found them a lot more fun than the specs and comparison to other bikes would suggest, with the added bonus they (like many OSS’s) are just big boys Meccano. fatblokeonbandit Posted November 7 Posted November 7 27 years and counting, its hardly changed at all 6
MrKris Posted November 7 Posted November 7 (edited) Your bandit has seen more bikes come and go than Fowlers Edited November 7 by MrKris May aswell add picture 3
Tony Nitrous Posted November 7 Posted November 7 (edited) Mines been sitting gathering dust in the back of one of my sheds for a while with some of the other unloved. I always had the thought that maybe I’d break it for parts. In reality, I probably won’t. If I part it out, then I wouldn’t have a Bandit, so I’d have to buy another one obviously!
