  1. I thought it was ok as it was cheaper but i noticed the difference when i used better quality oils.But that was in oil boiler suzukis so might be better in an air cooled lump.
  2. On the back if you strip the ign switch down you will find the resistor that no one knows about. A security measure that the repair manuals do not cover. It measures 100 ohms and is in line in the power circuit to the ECU to stop hotwiring the bike.I have used 4pin gsxr ignitions wired up to blandit looms by fitting a 100 ohm resistor into the ecu wiring a few times in the past.I`m no electrics expert,i found it all on the interweb ages ago.
  3. A lot of them don`t have the resistor built in to the switch.i would rather use a 2nd hand one personally
  4. I know that feeling,have`nt messed with slide carbs in decades and recently had to dive into the black art again.
  5. hello there,i have run 36mm(b12/gsxr/gsxf) carbs on my old et years ago no problem and have fitted b12 carbs on my lads efe kat at the moment also no problem with floats.
