wraith
Ok all, Anybody know if the b12 MK1 has a sleeve for the clutch master cylinder to sleeve it down to the 22mm handle bar ? Being told they do as they don't come as 22mm fitment but more 28mm ? Checked the Alpha sports web site but it doesn't list one. Any help please Quote Link to comment

wraith
I thought so, just got one off evil bay and he is trying to tell me it needs a sleeve Quote Link to comment
Captain Chaos
I bought one from the cosmic centre of the universe a few years ago and was surprised that it was for 1" handlebar. @fatblokeonbanditassured me that it was from a B12, which he had from new, and it should be sleeved down to 22mm, which almost nobody knows. 1 Quote Link to comment

wraith
Yes, found on Flowers site (never used them before) but they are discontinued so if I want to use it I will have to make a sleeve up. Quote Link to comment

clivegto
I have another B12 sat in the back corner of the shed so I went and took a picture as we like pictures and it indeed does have a spacer. 1 Quote Link to comment

Dezza
Brake parts, especially master cylinders, seem to reside in the category of 'bonkers vestiges of imperial measurements that should have been put to bed decades ago.' E.g. 12mm bore units are actually a little bigger (1/2 inch). Maybe it's something to do with that if the clamp is ~25mm (1 inch, 25.4mm) 22mm or thereabouts is 7/8 of an inch. 2 Quote Link to comment
Gixer1460
Hardly Abletoo's use 1" bars - everyone else in the universe uses 7/8" - explain that one if you can Quote Link to comment

Upshotknothole
Just checked, and it looks like Suzuki uses the same clutch MC on their metric cruisers. 1 Quote Link to comment
