clivegto
Bought this flowed cylinder head last week with cams. The cams have a B stamped on the ends. I was wondering what the B stands for. I remember it been mentioned before but can not remember or find it with the search function. Quote Link to comment
MeanBean49
Only way to ident cams is measure lobes and compare specs Quote Link to comment
Buzuki
Cams with stamp `B ` is from 88- R750J model (not 89 K model) , intake cam lobe height is 33,878mm - 33,918mm , exaust cam lobe height is 33,533mm - 33,573mm . 1 Quote Link to comment

Any set of cams can have a B on them, its just random, just to do with the batch number, had them on alsorts of cams from different models Quote Link to comment
clivegto
Good chance they might be hot cams as apparently the head & cams came from a X racer. Quote Link to comment

Sandman
If the camshafts are regrinds, they should be marked somewhere? Edited March 4, 2019 by Sandman Spelling Quote Link to comment

Dezza
Weird Suzuki must have had it in mind that there will be 2 additional variants of the GSXR750 that would each require different cams when they made the original F model (C cams) or else they would have started on A (which seems logical). Why they reverse letter ranking I wonder? Maybe this is the way they do things in Japan. Quote Link to comment
