  1. At this very moment in time, it looks as though my Saturday space may be available... I shall know for definite within 48 hours...
  2. I'm not sure if you can even get the 884 kits now...

    Oil Pumps

The fact that the question is posted in the oil-cooled section might be a small hint Ian!
  4. Before Ben cops the hump, I'll just add some background info to my comment - I fitted a B12 into my 750 Slabbie using standard mounts, with the upper rear bolt sleeved with a piece of copper plumbing pipe; also slid a 1100K motor into a 600 Bandit after drilling out that upper rear mount to suit the larger engine bolt from the K. I believe Ben was aluding to the fact that it's the rear upper bolt that is a larger diameter on the bigger engine...
  5. I see this in your future... Riding through the town centre at 16,500 rpm on an open pipe yet still only doing 25mph...
  6. Some of the drag-specific turbo headers have one of the header pipes pointing directly at the wastegate port - it'll be down to your specific header design / amount of room you have as to how you can do it.
  7. What he said ^ With wheelie bars you're not going to need the same forward weight bias as, say, a SSB bike. Some really cool lightweight front end can be had for little money right now - radial brake upside downies from Priller, Yammerar, Katoom etc...
  8. Looking like I'll be there too, with camera of course...
  9. Good. Not the flashest rearsets in existence, but they are a great price, and seem to be solidly made. I have a set on my SV... I'll be interested in what you think when they arrive ;-)
  10. My other half's 1216 is sparked into life with a Bandit 600 ECU, with the corresponding rev limiter... it all depends on when you change gear, and the 1216 motor has loads of midrange so no gains in revving it til the valves bounce...
  11. Why won't he answer Rene? Or what won't he answer?... I got a set off him within a handful of days...
  12. Note to self - keep an eye on this thread, it will come in useful at some point in the future...
  13. I've not looked yet Johnny, been too busy laying underfloor heating... :-(
  14. Set of 4 for me please Johnny! See you at the show tomorrow?
  15. I don't recall the 36 or 38 that we used on the Slimfast Bandit having steps on the spacers, but I could be wrong... if the 36s that're are currently fitted have them, I'd be interested in a set.
  16. Whaaaat? Boooo.... And you'll not be the first person to realise that he has enough spares to build another bike, nor the last.
  17. I thought you had a decent shock on yours already John?
  18. And it's had quite a bit of further development since that video. It'snow running fuel injection, and if I remember correctly there have also been a few chassis alterations and further engine changes. It's a monster!
  19. I used Smoothrite with excellent results, as others have said, it's all in the prep ;-)
  20. You should've just bought a GT28R to start with Tom... (errr, can you get them with a carbon seal?)
  21. Road bike or race bike? Thrashed mercilessly or maintained impeccably? And what has the engine that you're using experienced in its life? How old? Mileage? Race use? Valve recession? It's probably best to replace the springs, ideally with something new, even standard ones will be better than some that have seen some life. If you want to be really picky you could ensure that they are all identical - length, rate etc...
