  1. Hi all, Dose anybody know if you can get a rear hugger/mud guard for the gsxr750wr? Been looking around but can't find one if not is there one that will fit off a latter model? Cheers.
  2. Cheers I was thinking that would be the case but always worth asking.
  3. Dose the rear oil pipes off the gsxr750 fit the gsxr1100 (1127) and or b12 ? Just I have 2 or 3 spare ones in the box of bits in the shed, if they don't fit I will have to get some for a b12 motor and get rid of the 750 ones

    Starter gear

That's good, nice one. Just I've got 3 in a box of gsxr/gsx/bandit bits and did not know which they where off
  5. Seen a lot worse on GS1000 heads you will be changing the valve seals any why no you have the valves out If it was not smoking at start up they where most probably OK.

    Starter gear

Hi all, Are the starter gears (the gears between the starter motor and the starter drive on the end of the crank ) the same between the bandits 6/12 and the gsxr750/1100? Cheers w.

    GSXR cams??

Are you meaning the power screen 1100f ? Most say the gsxr750j/k cams. I must say I have the standard cams in the power screen motor in the kat and love the all round power they give
  10. Matt is the new gloss you know All the big bike and car lot or doing matt. Once if you had a matt bike it was a rat
  11. Don't think you will find many on here will be riding a standard one they would be more a dona bike for a project They're a good mid wait bike for what they where built for
  12. I think the mk2 b12 went electronic speedo.
  13. Item number 152714310031
  14. Has anybody try one of the new side covers from china for bandits/gsxr? Are they any good?
  15. Re gsxr motor, I don't know I've just see people doing it quite a lot with both the gsx600f and gsx750f There is a USA site that is all gsxf bikes and seen this swop on that a lot.
  16. Welcome to OSS If you get the motor out of the frame and take the sump off you can see some of the gear box, you can as @Captain Chaossays you can split the crank case in half with out taking the top end off but you need to remove the clutch, oil filter, side covers, ATU and I think alternator and starter motor. If I remember you need to remove the clutch because these a plate behind the clutch witch you need to remove (or is that on the GS motors ) You can put a gsxr 1100 motor in the teapot

    Carburettors

OK that looks cool Now know more about your set up, with them zorsts I go for starting with more like a 144 main, you should not need to change the pilot jets and for now keep the needle in the standard place and see how it runs. I've got the power screen 1127 motor in my kat but with gsxr750 38mm carbs and I'm running 150 main jets needles are at 2nd from the top groove and pilot screw at 3.5 turns out.

    Carburettors

Welcome to OSS, stick around and you will soon be doing more than just filters Cheepo filters are crap and will give you more trouble, so 1. If you just want it to run and have the standard air box put that on. 2. If not got the standard air box get some Ramair or K&N filters for it. 3. If you're not putting a more free flowing end can on you will be putting more air in than the motor needs. 4. A start point with jets, main jet 136 keep the needle in the standard place and keep the standard pilot jet size. You may find the cheepo filters you have are not letting much air in, had a set of the cheep Emgo filters once and even when I put a hair drier in one end you could not even fell the air coming out of the filter at the other end.

    oil or water

Just put tape over the gauge, then it don't matter
  22. +1 and I think the swing arms are wider at the wheel spindle end, so you may need different spacers as the gs1 rear wheel is slightly wider. So to your answer, yes it will fit but you don't need a big hammer just a standard size one
