  1. Can't have too much info. Well spotted lads!
  2. I believe the max you can bore to, on '29's is 33mm. What makes you think you need to bore the 29's out? They're a decent carb, when set up well GS Thou's fly with them!
  3. This might be a bit late in the day for you, but I've just came across this, buried in the 'puter! It may be useful to others? These are the same diameter (220mm) as Slabbie rear discs, but slightly thinner: '96 - '07 GSXR 750 '01 - '07 GSXR 1000 '03 - '07 SV 650/1000 '93 - '03 TL & TLR 1000 Plus, on a 240mm dia. (new hanger 'tho), the following; '88 - '94 GSXR750 '89 - '94 GSXR1100
  4. It's coming along great! Hats off to Sam for the fairing bracket!
  5. Might be an idea to post on the Katana Owners forum too! Widen the search a bit?
  6. That's tidy! What's the plan if you find it. Try to buy it back, or just curiosity?
  7. And, after replacing the frame tubing, it might be a good idea to drill a small 'weep' hole at the low point.
  8. There may be slight differences in the carriers from different models. Just try fitting what you have, and use/machine the one that's closest to what you need.
  9. Is that a std. 'Busa front guard Garry, or off something else?
  10. Duncan, the only relevance I can attach to the 'D' suffix, is that in later Slingshot models, it denoted 'Swiss Domestic Market'.
  11. Not a lot of help but I'll keep looking.'85-'86 front axle was 15mm 300mm disc, '87 went to 17mm, same size disc. Found these, so I'll post:
  12. I'll try to get some info this morning for you, Duncan.
  13. Can anyone remember the guy on Eblag who was supplying bobbins to fit B12 swinger to 1100ET frames? Or, anyone got the dimensions?
  14. That's tidy! Lots of nice bits & pieces on it.
  15. I may be able to date the frame later on for you. If anyone else has the info to hand...feel free.
  16. Whip the head off for a look see.
  17. Well Rick, there's one I could learn to love!!!
  18. Most RWU's (and USD's) will fit with stem change. Some can be made to fit with comparable bearing changed. Dig your tape measure out!
  19. Welcome! Bad news about the fire, but you've obviously said 'Fuck it' and got on with life. '85 had fibreglass lower fairing (belly pan) as std, twin seats, 3 bolt top/mid fairing panels, front mudguard (I think) is also different.
