  1. Patrick had the same engine in his 7/11. With pods/4-1. He gave all the jetting info in his 7/11 thread, if you can find it. And...welcome!
  2. GSX1100/1150 won't fit. 3. Hi Paul. Welcome to OSS!
  4. Might be an idea to all who have loose sumps lying around, to photograph with dimensions, and post. Maybe admin could then 'sticky' it?
  5. According to Aplhasports website, bearing sizes for '88 model 1100 eccentric are: 17 x 24 x15. Contact bearing factor with sizes, and he'll come up with a number. Or, you may be able to cross reference on-line.
  6. Just re-read the whole build. Great work, Clive. You've put me to shame!
  7. Nice build, Si! I had the same bother with sw/arm and linkage bearings too. Tried all ways to get them out, including weld on the outer cage to contract. Still no movement. Ordered a blind bearing puller, bit gentle heat, and they were out in 10 minutes! Well worth the money! What you up to in Greenland, then?
  8. That's the whole idea of using 'Busa masters. They look std, are an up-grade for the originals, and the angle is right for clip-ons.
  9. Nice bike, and a lovely and lasting tribute to your pal. Well done!
  10. 'Busa levers and master cylinders definitely fit! Not sure about B12 'tho.
  11. That could be your problem. Although it would be a mist, rather than a high pressure squirt. These roller bearing motors run at a lot less pressure than plain bearing motors. Clean everything off, and start the motor. And, by 'cord', I mean the round section rubber used for making your own o rings! I might be inclined to agree with CC, as you say the left side of the motor is oily, right side dry! How about rigging up a temp. hose, breather to small pop bottle, and see if that cures it?
  12. That's your camchain tensioner above it. Try renewing the gasket, or making a new one if you have the cord. Renew fibre/paper washer under plastic sensor. Try new fibre washers under bolt heads. Are you sure your leak is from here? Take the tank off, and get some light on the subject. Run the motor, and give it a good coat of 'looking at'!
  13. Not a lot of difference between 750 & 1000 frame sizes.

    Centres

Are the 750 & 1100 J/K model forks at the same centres?
  15. Well, if money's tight ... that's the way to go. Should have a fair range to choose from. There's a shock length chart in the Vault somewhere. Have a browse!
  16. I put a Hagon on my 1100EF. Re-buildable, and not too much money. Around £230, iirc.
  17. I've got a modified one in the box I got off CiderJoe years ago I'll try the 4.5" first. Seems to be a lot of you prefer them! See what happens.
  18. I know certain years CBR600's front and rear ends fit, with not too much trouble.
