  1. I'd have thought an old stager like you would've known the answer to that one! Me auld Welsh Rarebit!
  2. Fatbloke'll probably know!
  3. Worse case scenario ... they leak. Source two better ones, and fit all your nice new bits into them. But, I'll be surprised if they don't hold pressure.
  4. +1 Also, give the groove a smear of anti-corrosion grease before fitting the seals. Don't forget to give the seals a dose of Red Rubber Grease too!
  5. Aye ... there's nowt the matter with Graham!
  6. Go on Alpha Sports website, find the fische you need, and it should give you sizes. Failing that, try Robinsons Foundary.
  7. I did! Just asked! What's the worst that can happen? He packages well, so postage to NL wouldn't be a problem. Give him a bell!
  8. Try Imageworks. 0115 944 3111.

Go to 'Google Images' put year and model in, should get some ideas there.
  10. The braced arm looks better than the 'Banana' arm anyway. It's a good retro-fit.
  11. 750WP had this top shock mount too! I suppose the 1100 that year was the same?
  12. Beat me to it! Just came back on to edit my post to that effect!
  13. Welcome to OSS Northernbloke! That's a great model for your first 'Aircooled'! Nice colour too!
  14. I'd say, measured from under the bolt head, you'd need around 335mm to end of pin to be able to fit std. footrest plates.
  15. Ok boys. So its do-able. Thanks for the advice.
  16. If you're changing the front end (with what, you don't say), why stay with 41mm stanchions? Most RWU's are 43mm, Z9's are 46! Find a decent, complete front end, and put your spare stem in that.
  17. Anyone know if I can fit an '89 1100 Teapot motor into an '85 750 Slabbie frame, using all the 750's electrics?
  18. Measured my pin. It's 312mm from under the head to end of thread. So, OK to use with rearsets, but not long enough for std. footrest plates! @gsxBe interested to know dimms. of YZF450 one thonugh.
  19. Changed the lower fitting...for what reason? I'm fitting a B12 arm to mine, maybe using similar shocks, so all info is helpful.

Something a bit different. Like it! Welcome to OSS!
  21. Mine would do, at a pinch, if I used rearsets. I'll pull it out tomorrow, and get the length.
