cracking bike mate. Can I ask what you have done to the front headlight? I like it.

I've got a Dynojet stage 3 in mine and its a B12 Mk 1 with Mk 2 carbs, Akropovic full system and K&N dual filters. It's been in for 20k+ and it works quite well. I used the standard settings according to the instructions and tweeked it from there.

I’ll check in a bit. I’ve got a dot head with no rubbers I’ll measure the inlet port spacing if you think that would help -

@DezzaII've got a B12 mk 1 engine and head with Mk2 rubbers and carbs I'll get my ruler out tonight and post up the spacing and check to see if the BSRs are chamfered. Great post too lots of good info -

Morning and welcome to OSS. Have a look at this http://oldskoolsuzuki.info/archives/404 this will tell you which oil cooled parts will interchange with which oil cooled motor. If you manage to do something different than is in there please let us know how you did it and the size of hammer you used . In answer to your question. In simple terms you the GSXR 1100 had two types of valve adjustment, the screw type and shim. If your bike has got screw type valve adjustment you will need a camshaft from a GSXR 1100 with screw type valve adjustment. Next check your cam chain as there are two types of these. The GSXR 1100 has a normal type chain (like a bicycle one) the Blandit has a different type I believe they are called HiVo chains. If your motor has one of these then you will need to swap the camshaft sprockets from your old camshaft to the replacement GSXR 1100. Hope this helps

What 370Steve says. Its been blasted to clean it up and the bearing surfaces will have been masked to prevent any damage to them.

Bit of an understatement that Clive, a cracking job they look like they've been machined from scratch.

Excellent write ups and and a cracking first season. Well done

Not sure if this is what you're after but you can use this guide to help. I found it quite good when I dialled my cams in. http://www.webcamshafts.com/pages_misc/degreeing.html

Cracking write up and well done to all involved

I've got a couple of brand new ones of them that were launched into the fuck it bucket as soon as I found out on here that they were not needed. There is an up grade with newer Bandit clutches that only use two screws.

Hi mate @Solcambshad a similar problem with his bike in the project builds. I believe that he used a hammer to release it. I’m pretty sure that they are a normal thread as I’ve just done my B12 clutch and it was righty tighty to tighten it up. Hope this helps good luck

I'd start at the battery and work my way out from there. I feel your pain

Wow @Lachie04 the power and torque curves on that graph are bloody good flat as a witches tit

Well done

Ouch that's quite a break, hope its repaired now. @Wilson get one from the bay of many things they are going for about £25 on there and they're easy enough to replace.

Love it enjoy ragging its arse everywhere

Sorry mate I replaced those myself along with 3 and 9 on the diagram.
