  1. Have a look on Partzilla It's $74 on there or about £50. I have ordered from them before and they were reliable. If I remember correctly I paid £47 import duties on an order worth £170

    Oil Jet Removal

Yes mate I figured that was the case. The ones between the cylinders pop out easily because you can get behind them. I can't figure out how to grip these buggars though.
  4. Hello, I need to remove the oil jets from my B12. These are the ones that look like they will take a flat bladed screwdriver at the rear of cylinders 1 and 4. Can anybody advise please.

Sad chap that I am I got bored one day at work and calculated the road speed of a B12 and B6 for any given RPM on an Excel spreadsheet. It could prove useful for those racer and track dayers amongst you, I will upload it if you like.
  7. Here you go http://oldskoolsuzuki.info/forums/index.php?/topic/1930-slingshot-750-head-bearings-sizes/
  8. Understood mate. I was looking into similar problem with my B12 and the nearest I could get was 30/47/12 from simply bearings. I was thinking of a spacer on top to make up the 3mm (don't need to worry about it now cos the stem isn't long enough anyway)
  9. Hi the GSXR 750 K5 uses 30/55/17 bearings top and bottom according to Partzilla parts diagram hope this helps
  10. Ok here goes all dimensions as they appear in the photo not including the bit that goes through the bottom yoke. B12 height 254mm height to bottom of top bearing 187mm gsxr 1100L height 233mm height to bottom of top bearing 167mm
  11. Photos lost some quality when I reduced the size if you need a dimension from them give me a shout
  12. Bandit stem in an 1100 bottom yoke
  13. I take it you're sorted then mate
  14. I will get you the measurements of a bandit mk1 1200 and a gsxr 1100 l stem I have them in my shed
  15. Ever so slightly jealous, I love Harris stuff.
  16. Really, prey tell good sir.
  17. I stand corrected I thought you were on about CDI units
  18. 600 ignition will work. The rev limiter is higher though so if you do use it with a 1200 you need to be careful of this. I remember reading about the resistor thing I think it only affected late models I believe and was to do with restricting power in bottom gear, I need to check
  19. It should do, one quick way of checking would be to compare the location of indicated speeds such as 30 mph should be in the same place as 50 kph on the metric speedo, 50 mph should be in the same place as 80 kph and so on. If they are then I would say that it reads true.
  20. Just realised the hybrid part of the frame. A brilliant way to do it.
  21. Phew that's a relief I was planning on checking oil clearances anyway, I guess I'll find out then whether or not I need to invest in new bearings. Always remember a balanced diet is a pie in each hand
  22. Looks like I'm giving up pies and cakes then
