  1. They are easily removed (no wires inside) if I take it down the strip or on a circuit. Probably just hoon around on it though.
  2. Yea when there off they almost disappear. Didn't like the bar end mirrors I was going to use that had indicators on as well, thought they might grow on me but they didn't. Can not live with out mirrors in the real world so got some the same as I have on 3 of my other bikes. Only cheap bar end foldable ones but I like them.
  3. Splashed out on some moto gadget blaze pin indicators, there bloody bright and look way better than the cheap ones I was going to use. Also got some brembo discs of MeanBean49 which have done less than 2000 miles (cheers Rob). Will fit them when I fit the mudguard.

    HPF1

Nice, sort of has the look of a slabby tank.
  5. @Jpich85just get on & have a go it's the best way to learn, if you get stuck just ask. I even fitted hayabusa pistons the rong way roud and did 50 miles like this until it was pointed out on hear from a pic in my projection thread.
  6. I run just short of 16psi on pump gas with standard b12 ignition. Done thousands of miles on it now over the last 3 years, No Problemo, so far.
  7. For a simple setup you don't need a intercooler (cooler air). Mk1 B12 carbs are easy to setup for turbo use.
  8. As said b12 engine is a good choice, these are OK to around 180hp with no mods hardly. But I would recommend turbo pistons and a lock-up clutch.
  9. Thanks, trying to coserve as much space as possible.
  10. 15mm saved with the relay bracket allows me to fit the fuse box next to it. Knocked another bracket up to mount it from the seat bracket.
  11. Made a new bracket for the relay main fuse to replace the standard one I was going to use, this saves a hole 15mm of space

    Frame brace

Could brace the main frame more so you don't have to fit them.
  13. Made a titchy little bracket for the starter relay and main fuse. Another step forward.
  14. Made a little bracket out of some aluminum for the ignitech cdi incorporating a b12 cdi rubbery thing as well. Tucked in nicely in front of the battery. Still needs tidying up a bit but it has a home.
  15. Back to length, I came across these extensions for a slabby swinging arm they just slot in and bolt on. Neat idea I thought.
  16. But it is & still does not weigh fuck all compared with more heavily braced arms.
  17. I now run this Metmachex swinging arm in my Turbo Slabby bike. I do belive the one I made about 4 years ago in a shed in North Yorkshire must have more strength than the standard one. Obviously there are stronger arms available.
  18. They do. I ones bought a motor with a stuck return valve, it blew the oil cooler to bits with the previous owner. I replaced it & all was well. That motor is still in my Turbo Scratcher.
  19. Worked well enough on a 260hp turbo slabby.
  20. Finished the fuel lines and vacuum pipe off to the regulator.
  21. I also use Lee's article to time cams in. Still usually takes me a while with all the calculations
  22. Fairly flat is a gsx1400 piston like busa ones.
