  1. Yet more fittings from torques_uk this time for the fuel pump. Cut 5mm of the top for in & out to gain a bit more room. Fitted some rubber grommets to the feet of the pump (tested it on a battery and it vibrates a bit) as well as the fuel line from the tank to the pump and pump to regulator.

  5. Think 90's fighter but modern, won't be every one's cup of tea
  6. No OCD hear am a bit rough & ready most the time but have a good eye as well as been very practical. Your supposed to see more the deeper you look at this bike, its about the frame really but the paint job might blow that out the water lol Brian sent the wheel spindles and the shock bolts back, he's done them a black rainbow colour.
  7. Wasn't happy with the rocker cover breather so made a new one out of 13mm id silocon pip 15mm copper sleeves stuck together with flexible polyurethane adhesive for the first part. 2nd part is back to an8 fittings.
  8. Mk2 busa pistons have 18mm pins as do gsx14. You could use b12 liners in the block, crank cases would need opening up & I belive the sleeves show through the barrel fins which need to sealed. Not done this but it might be possible.
  9. Don't go looking at 1052 engines then.
  10. I bought a 1100efe motor recently for £650, though that wasn't too expensive as I have seen cranks for sale at £500. I know someone who got a gs1000 motor recently for less than 1/2 that. There are still bargains out there there just not that easy to find.
  11. I thought that might be the case but wasn't sure.
  12. There ya go job jobed Loom is going through there as well
  13. O ring arrived from Germany today for the clutch cover got a spare as well, best not put it in to safer place Cut the taylo leads to length and fitted them.
  14. @Gpz1100_Convertyes top in the middle of the top of the float.
  15. Fitted 4 rubber grommets to the tank undertray just to lift it a bit really. Also fitted the ignition to the side of the tray.
  16. Have left a air gap between the coils and the tray.
  17. Its a fair point is that. It did have gsxr750 motor in last with same tray but engine was slightly lower. Might fit some heat shield underneath.
  18. Fits quite neat with seat unit on I thought
  19. Will a GSX1100 motor fit straight into a Gs850 frame without molding the frame.
  20. Looks like the old coils were mounted hear, will try to use as many of the existing holes in it as possible. Made some 14mm spacors up to mount the coils to. Tank should clear the coils fine.
  21. Modified the electronic tray that came with the frame that fits under the tank. Had to cut a bit out to alow the breather pipe from the rocker cover to poke through so the tray could sit flat on the frame mounting tabs.
