  1. Maths, every engine is different.
  2. 1.5 to 2 points, measuring stuff is a good idea.
  3. I have reused them by spraying primer on them after seeing Gary do it on hear years ago. When buying new I use Cometic head gaskets, only use Suzuki O rings though.
  4. The 2 electronic facet pumps I used have been 100% reliable. Mechanical one is something new to me that's why I have been asking questions.
  5. @MeanBean49before I start my turbo bike I start the electric scavang pump to clear the oil from the turbo. Looks to me like the little oil catch tank does the same job for the mechanical scavang pump. At least that's how I see it.
  6. Yes the gsxr750k I have measure 19mm. I plan to fit a 1052 crank into 748 crank cases for something I am working on.
  7. After a bit of external OSS research these work well. As Gixer1460 says the oil needs to drain after engine shut dowto stop smokey startups.
  8. This is what I need to know. Seems like lots of people have them, why ?
  9. So the tank needs a breather as well as in and out pipes @wombat258
  10. Looking for pictures and advice on catch tank from Turbo then to mechanical scavang pump. Any tips do's and don'ts.
  11. Rear than a rare thing that's very rare indeed. It's unusual to see one on the road at least round hear it is.
  12. Had a play around with the 1100 & 750 stuff I have. Looks to me like the 750 knuckle works with 1100 frame 750 arm 1100 shock. Bit tight on the back of the spring but some material could always be removed from the arm. Personally I would fit a shock with adjustable ride hight as well.
  13. Cheers man, that's what we like Rock & Roll
  14. Fitted it to the engine only to find as I suspected it might hit the chain due to the offset front sprocket. So I trimed a bit of material of the slave cylinder housing. Refitted the tin plate then bashed it with a ball hammer. Need to trim the back leg on the main case to stop the 17 tooth sprocket hitting it too. Work's a treat, chain don't touch now.
  15. Was @Allspeedsyesterday really cool setup he has. New seal for the clutch slave cylinder.
  16. I use this for cleaning carbs, works a treat. Not the Kat tank sat on top.
  17. Press the sight glass out and reseal it with silocon.
  18. Evolving as the build continues bud. It now has that wow factor for me when I look at it. So many things I would do differently with it if just starting the project.
  19. Re fitted the back tyre, disc and cut the chain to length fitting the soft link. Tightened the front sprocket nut up with a new tab washer behind it.
