  1. Yes the 1052 cam cover is a magnesium alloy mix.
  2. Got it of a Polish lad on Turbo FB page. Seems to work alright so far but another member on hear did fit a bronze Bush to his. Might fit a shim my self as it looks like the oil pressure forces it outwards.
  3. Carnt get away with it round hear like you and I don't have a get out of jail free card like what you do.
  4. Went to local car shop to get a number plate for the Harris. Had to show them the logbook and my driving licence before they would make me one which cost £7.80. I then promptly took it home and cut it up with the grinder.
  5. Don't know but gsxr1000k3 and gsxr1000k9 are 125mm inside disc measurement.
  6. @Dezzathey came from Harris.
  7. I noticed the weren't that keen to mold round the frame, thanks
  8. been saving them for a long time
  9. Dropped the forks 6mm and slackened the back spring to set the static sag. Also fitted the Harris frame stickers
  10. @Wagola Seat unit would have looked better lower but I have long legs with failing knees hense the hight. I also tried to keep the angle of the seat unit to the angle of the tank. Also though why not show of the frame as its about the frame really. Plan is to try the handling out with the short wheel base then see what it's like on the extended swinging arm which I think will improve the looks. But hey ho we will see.

    Dyno Day 2021

True, was laughing me head of inside me helmet & I was leeding
  12. Should have said the clutch now works perfectly bike feels fast on the road although the front end feels somewhat vague.
  13. Rock'n Role, been for a test ride down the lane
  14. I quite like spinning the back wheel when the bike runs properly
  15. Yes mate it feels like it's going forward rather than backwards.
  16. Stripped the scavang pump down to seal it up as it had been weeping oil a little.
  17. After fitting the new brembo clutch master cylinder the clutch still dragged stripped the b12 clutch down for investigation. I had fitted a 1127 back gear to the clutch along with matching oil pump drive and alternator gear. Gear on the back sticks out a little which I hadn't noticed before so I robbed the one from my spare b12 engine a d swapped the other gears back. I could see the inner hub had been catching the outer hub a little bit, hopefully it will be alright now.
  18. Went to start bike up and it ran like a bag of shit. Saw one of the old breathers that are now pressure pipes was kinked a d on further investigation I found some slivers of rubber in one of the float jets. Rubber had come from the inside of the fuel pipe where I had been swapping over to auxiliary tank hanging from the roof.
  19. Nowt rang wi steam lad.
  20. Better picture of bench. Scaffold board, 4x4 fencing, 1/2 railway sleeper and 4 inch nails, verv simple but effective.
