  1. I use a company called Bearing Source, full set of slab swinger bearings just cost me about £35

That was me, I know your old bike very well. @busa ashhad it for a time and loaned it to me. I went all over the IOM on it in 2016, very torquey Motor but it hated traffic!
  3. Stick me down mate, may well have something finished by then!
  4. We did our best to drink it dry to even things out! I'd like to say a thank you to all that came and put their bikes on the stand, and those that came and chatted to a bunch of hungover grumpy fuckers on the Saturday. Roll on the next one!!
  5. To be honest @Dezzathe only reason I'm considering it is because I've put the same wheels in my EF. The distance of from the centre of the 1052 cases (in the EFE) to the outside of the sprocket will be the same as the 750 lump I'm using, the wheel is dead centre in the EF so it stands to reason that if I mod the wheel I've got in exactly the same way as I did for the EF it'll fit the slab, or at least the chain line will be right. ( does that make sense?) Frame/Swingarm clearance may be another matter though....
  6. Very true but I’m trying to work with what I’ve got lying around. If my ability on a track warrants lighter wheels I can always revisit it in the future.
  7. Gen2 busa wheel mate, it’s the type with the skinny spokes
  8. My wheels have got to match! I’ve got a pair of slingshot wheels and a pair of Gen2 busa wheels. Slingy wheels= easy in the back, difficult in the front with the K6 forks Busa wheels = easy in the front, slight cockache in the back. Can’t see it being any worse than when I put the busa wheel in my EF though
  9. It’ll be easier than making spindles or top hats/swapping bearings to make a slingy wheel work with my forks though surely?
  10. Anyone done it? massive ballache? Just thinking out loud really, I’ve got a gen2 busa wheel and toying with sticking it in the slabby. I understand it’ll need machining etc, I had the same when I put the same wheel in my EF. The ‘handling issue’ won’t really be an issue. I’ll run out of talent waaaay before the bike does
  11. @Wescooley19Did a VERY nice conversion on one of his projects not too long ago. Might be worthwhile some input
  12. The 85 750F is different from all of them, and the later(G H) either have 3 or 2 fixings to the mid panels. Couldn't tell you what models are what though.
  13. I did have a few sets of these made. If you get some laser cut, the 2 mounts on the bottom rear, get them cut 2mm longer and shorten if needed (out of the 30 sets I had made, about 5/6 people fed back that they were too short. Better to cut them long and trim back if needed) The upper right rear is approx 10mm too long on those drawings too All easily worked around
  14. Another bike on my bucket list! I saw on FB that hes making XR69 swingarms, hopefully frame kits wont be far behind!
  15. BRIAN: Are you the Judean People's Front The Peoples EFE Club of the UK? REG: Fuck off! BRIAN: What? REG: Judean People's Front The people's EFE Club of the UK. We're the People's Front of Judea The EFE Club of the UK! Judean People's Front The Peoples EFE Club of the UK. Cawk. FRANCIS: Wankers. BRIAN: Can I... join your group? REG: No. Piss off.
  16. Gutted I missed it. My sciatic nerves chose the worst weekend to play up
  17. Why not just wire a pair of relays in? Use the Y/W to switch the relays and take a 12v fused feed direct off either the spare +ve on the fusebox (If theres one) or direct off the battery to power the lights? You're only running a single cable then
  18. Red stripe would be cool
  19. You got mad skills there Viz, you should do art!
  20. Does anyone have or have a link to some line drawings of a slabby? im after something I can download and colour in
