  1. Let's make this the first Dutch round of the new No Bullshit award Competition EF; 125Bhp Slabby; 135Bhp
  2. Next sunday is the next Dutch Nakedbike meeting. After a few years being held at a run down MCC, they chose to move it to a proper bikeshop, Dyno included. Good move if you ask me. 15€ for a run and plenty of bikes to drool over (mine included) Starts at noon though to about 5ish, adress is; KMS Motoren Slachthuiskade 14A 2685LN, Poeldijk, NL

    Bloody hell, my head is spinning now. I really like the idea of stick coils, because it seems to clean up some of the standard wiring. Any deviation from stock as far as the loom is concerned is a good thing, imho.
  4. I've owned several of both and I see no chance in fitting a Slingshot-tank to a Teapot without making up some tabs. Sure isn't straight forward, I'd say do it
  5. I can keep the wheels turning on both bikes if you want, because I'm like that
  6. Stock power would have been around 110Bhp when new. However, make it breathe more easily (Filters/carbs and a decent pipe) and you'll already see a very healthy increase in power.
  7. I really think the earlier paintjob was better, but that's only my opinion.
  8. , but very capable for the street
  9. Efe's are very good for using with pod-filters, since the sidecovers go completely over the carbs; they won't be exposed. Pic for reference;
  10. And it won't sound like imminent mechanical meltdown.
  11. Pics? What did it do and when did it do it?
  12. Is it really touching right now?
  13. Just the inside witdh of the swingarm would do actually, to make it easier
  14. I need to find out the width of a teapotwheel, including left and right spacers, thanks.
  15. I got one that is currenlty fitted to my 1127L motor. It seems nippier than original, but never properly measured it on the dyno.
  16. Looks like someone made a mistake with calculating chainkenght and thought it was a good (cheap) idea to fix it that way. Very odd

    Easiest way if you can't do it yourself is take both sets of yokes; the standard ones and those of your desired front end, to an engineering shop and say; "Make this (the new set) the same as this (the originals)" There's not much too it but easy to get wrong if you don't have any experience doing stuff like this.
  18. Got it. Looks to be 8/10 but need to give it a proper once-over to be sure. Will stay like this for a short while but plan to change the front end and the wheels when I have the time. Can't be too long

    It's all down to bearings and the correct stem-lenght. Suzuki has been known to use the same dimensions (and parts) for a LONG time. That's why a Slingshot USD goes straight into a late 70's GS. TL's and later GSXR's all have ballbearing, so these need swapping to tapered.
