The side stand switch can be bypassed temporarily to rule it out. Some folks do away with it all together.

I'm with the Captain on this, sounds electrical, especially with the rev counter dying. Side stand switch still in good working order?

Nissin calipers are much nicer 4 pot.

I think RGV's and GSXR600's came with those calipers.

Made a carbon fibre protector for the lower brace on swing arm, should stop it getting blasted by stones of the front wheel. Some brake upgrades are underway too. Need to speak nicely to Rich about getting some lines made.
