Unfortunately that was the colour of wires on the device I bought from Maplin back in the day. Could have changed them. Besides if fuses are used it should save any melt downs.

Incredibly neat work.

You can make your own for around 30 quid. A 12v remote receiver/switch, a relay and some wires, a waterproof box. Press the button on Fob and ignition is on, press again ignition off. Job done. I wrote and article in Streetfighters many moons ago about building one.

Welcome Skaterdave to OSS. Please take time to familiarise yourself with your surroundings and also take time to RTFR. After that pop down to General Chat and introduce yourself nice and proper like, as you've been a little rude and not done so. Message ends.

Welcome to OSS.

Welcome to OSS. Turbo's are never a waste of time. You'll also realise on OSS, we like to take the piss a bit. It's just part of the OSS culture as is RTFR

Welcome to OSS @Jmckechnie. Please take time to do an introduction in the General Chat section. Oh and add pics, we like pics. But you'd best RTFR, especially when it comes to calling certain 600's Katanas.

I didn't word what I meant about the fuel return very well - where you are connecting the return to the bottom of the tank is fine, but the pipe you have inside the tank is too short. It needs to be longer so the end of it is higher than the fuel level. You are returning fuel back into the tank - not sucking it out.
-
Your fuel return pipe needs to be higher than the fuel level in the tank, otherwise fuel will drain back out via this pipe.

1992 GSXR-W. Non-starter
Wee Man replied to Mid-life-crisis's topic in Water Cooled, V-Twins, Singles and 2-strokes
People were helping by telling you to read the manual. The reason you probably didn't get an instant response, as its generally the done thing to RTFR and introduce yourself in the general section, with some pics of your bike. It tends to let folk you are serious about staying on OSS and won't just fuck off when you get the information you're after. -

Not too many fuckwitts on here, they tend to get blocked for not RTFR. -
Not being funny, but would you not be better swapping out the 600 motor for the complete 1100 motor? Win, win...plus more poke. Oh please RTFR

@dassteen instead of posting a separate topic every time you do something to your bike, just add it to THIS thread.
