The joys of living on your own....change the bearings in the comfort of the hallway. 27 Year old grease, should have changed them years ago. But ran quiet.

I've always bit the bullet when comes to stuff like this and bought genuine. Hurts the pockets though

Boost gauge fitted, should be nice and easy to read. Once I've finished fitting new wheel bearings, I'll get out to test it

Love the stance of this bike. Got a lot of presence.

Are OE wheel bearings still the best? Robinson Foundry got them on offer at moment.

Got round to fitting its new battery today, thought I'd better give the charging circuit a going over. Didn't want to kill the new battery. Glad I did, bloody alternator was kicking out 15.5v..feck, arse, bollocks! Thankfully some kind person wrote a nice article on how to remedy this http://oldskoolsuzuki.info/archives/400 Dig out the trusty soldering iron time! Wee bit later jobs a good 'un and now charging at a steady 14.5v.

14k is far too high! Don't know about 750, but redline on an 1100 is 10500.

Back in the day, saw a few mounted up beside number plate....might look bit odd on yours though.

Biggest problem I got now is trying to find somewhere to fit one of these buggers......think I need to go electronic due to depth of mechanical ones limiting where I can put them without looking too Heath Robinson.

Who knows? I need to get some miles in, re-torque the head. Then some dyno time.

1216cc MTC pistons, some head work, lock up clutch.

Yeah totally pointless with turbo fitted, but help hide some of the wiring.
