Wraith, I wonder if a 600 cdi would cure it....they share same stroke so maybe redline is the same ?

Hi Jaydee...thanks for the info. Any idea what kinda resistor I need ? A sneaky restriction that one eh ...I've looked a lot through the web and there's not a lot of info on the 750 gsf....

So for ages now I've had an idea stuck in the back of my head, never a good sign...since 750/1100 LMN aftermarket cams don't exist, has anyone ever swapped 750M cams into an 1100M? I could check my 750 factory manual for the cam specs, but that would be too easy. I've got a 750 that needs a major tuneup that I could "borrow" the cams from and an 1100 that I'm rebuilding that I could put them in. The 1100 is currently running RS38s and a full Akra system, but is otherwise stock. Interested in more top end, the RS38s already make it boring to ride around town legally. Worth a shot or save my time and just get a 1216 kit for it? No turbos on this bike!!!

Yeah, that sticky needs to be updated for intake rubbers. The intakes that fit the RS carbs are the hardest ones to find now, J/K 750 intakes or teapot intakes. I've got multiple sets that are all rock hard that I need to see about sorting.

The bandit 750 is restricted through a resistance value from the neutral switch. Think gears 1, 2, 3 and 4 are unrestricted. Gears 5 and 6 resistance won't let cdi reach full rev range. A resistor spliced in on the pink wire ( I think, was years sgo when I did it) to the cdi fool the cdi by keeping the resistance down on 5 and 6 and allowing full rev range.

I'd say CDI but someone else will probably know more

Hi,It has a worm drive and speedo cable ....

GSXR K1, K2, K3 fuel caps are the same as Slingshot. I have Harris keyless on both of my Slingshot and K1 . Very happy with them

Can't think of any reason to block a jet within a carb - turbo or otherwise . . . . . a guy in his shed is unlikely to know more than the Mikuni knowledge vault when it comes to carb jetting ie. if its there, its there for a reason.
-
Is the Speedo a worm drive or electric type? I don't know but my guess the cdi
-
But it says you need BST38 or 40 (both 46mm spigot) rubbers to fit RS36-38. @DAZ's info is correct, you should use rubbers for 42mm spigots (BST36)

Wasn't really looking for a Kat, was more after an EFE but this popped up on Autotrader and at a fair price. The seller was not hands on at all, it was always vanned to the dealer, even for a new battery! Straight up guy though. Side stand is suicidal so new spring, shoulder bolt and a pack of shim washers on the way. Brake hose swell like inner tubes so braided kit on the way. Intermittent dip beam function so multimeter out today.

Yup, the RS stands for rattle slides

Well got everything sorted out on the RS38s . Got new set of MK1 intake rubbers. Lord what a difference! They are some noisy sonaguns with low idle . Not bad at all around 1250 or so . But Wow…

It's a huge difference between them. So now I have switched to the left small one. Anybody know why this pipe Is plugged? They are setup for turbo (not by me)
