Hello Hello,

With a little over a month and a half to go we wanted to give everyone the heads up on our big 2017 annual get together at Endurance Legends weekend at Donington Park from the 6th to the 8th of May. So whether you are participating in the track day, showing your bike on the OSS stand or just coming along to enjoy, what promises to be,an unadulterated weekend of endurance racing and oldskool bike porn, this is what you need to know.

The OSS Stand

Firsts of all we should explain that the club stand area has been very popular for this event and the organisers have been pushed to accommodate everybody. That said, we have secured more space than most. We had originally been looking for space for up to 30 bikes but that simply won't be possible. In the end we have space for just 14 bikes ( at a squeeze) That means 2 things:

  1. We wont be including any of the track bikes on the stand between sessions.
  2. We have had to choose 14 bikes from the the many possibilities that we had.

So the 14 bikes on the stand will be as follows:

Viz will be in touch to get full details on your bikes for the stand information cards that will go on each bike. Minx and Viz will be running the stand but they will need help. If you're showing your bike please feel free volunteer to help them put it together.

Stand bikes will be able to get in after lunch on Friday 5th May and each club will have space for one van behind the marquee - all others will need to return to the car park or camping area in Park Farm. So unload your bike on the Friday night and then park your van. If you are displaying on the stand I will need your real name and postal address to send out your pass. The entry will cover both days and camping.

The organisers have said " We  would  like everyone to stay on as long as possible and be there for the 4hr finish and the awards but appreciate that won't be possible for everyone. However, we will be asking all clubs not to start stripping down until 4pm which will coincide with the club parades (Rolling Bike Show) on the Melbourne Loop"

So you need be happy to be there Friday night and stay until Sunday afternoon.

Track day participants

If you are doing the track day  ( you all know who you are) your pass will be sent out directly to you by Classic Track Days. Your pass will give you entry for yourself and one other. You will have a separate area inside the perimeter for your van and gear. Details on this will follow. It is your responsibility to read the Classic Track Day requirements to ensure you, your gear and your bike meet the requirements, which will be issued with your tickets. Some more details here

All other OSS members attending

Spectator entry is £12 per day advance, and £18 on the day, or £20 advance for the weekend / £30 on the day. My advice is that you book your tickets now here:  More info can be found here:

This weekend is going to be epic. There is going to be so much going on. If the majority of us are camping then the opportunity to band together in the evening and hit the bars for live music should be easy to do.
