vizman Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 1100 slingy ones or b12 ones [non standard obv] Quote
metallicaman Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Will depend on what sump you are using Tony, can get brand new Delkevic bandit 12 headers on the bay for under £200... Quote
metallicaman Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Or have seen people use GSXR 10000 Titanium headers on oilboiler engines, not sure what year is best but these can be had for under £100.. Quote
Spike Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 (edited) I believe it's 2001-2004.It'll need some adjustment as the spacing is different. Edited July 16, 2015 by Spike Quote
Burnout Posted July 16, 2015 Author Posted July 16, 2015 Will depend on what sump you are using Tony, can get brand new Delkevic bandit 12 headers on the bay for under £200...Will be using bandit sump ..unless there is a benefit in using a gsxr one . Quote
metallicaman Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 No real benefit unless you wanted to use a set of 1100 headers....Plenty choice of Bandit exhausts, standard headers look nice and fat but they are double skinned, the standard link pipes are heavily baffled also, so choice depends on what performance you're after i suppose. Also, i'm fairly sure the 600 and 1200 headers are the same, no difference in height.. davecara Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 I've used k4 1000 Ti headers on my 750 and with a bit of pulling on the outer pipes it went straight on. They hang a bit low on mine so would be about right on a 7/12 Quote
gray711 Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Just stuck K series ti headers on the 1127 motor in my slab. Bit of brute force & they're on. The weight saving won't make me ride like a Valentino but made me grin none the less 1 Quote
wraith Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 I've got some GSXR1000k2 Ti headers on my gsxr engine Kat, as been seid a bit of brute force and there on and they are very light and sound well with the GP end can. 1 Quote
baldrick Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 akrapovic headers are cheaper than you may think. Quote
Oliekoel Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 the non oem bandit ones would do just fine 1 Quote
ddvries04 Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 I ordered an set of GSXR1000 K1 titanium headers and wanted to fit them on my 1127 slabby. HOW THE HELL DID YOU GUYS MADE THEM FIT?! Spacing isn't even close at all The pipe of the 4th cylinder is somewehere around the port of the 3th... Or is it really pushing and pulling to fit? Can't imagine that... Quote
Captain Chaos Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 still have not introduced yourself in General Chat, please do that. Quote

SiBag Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 @ddvries04it is just a case of brute force to get them to fit. You can use a bit of heat on them to help spread the pipes out. 1 Quote

SiBag Posted February 8, 2021 Posted February 8, 2021 Nice job. You've got them to fit quite tight to the sump... Quote
