  1. He does say 1127 motor which would suggest the oil boiler not watery motor, have seen it done and can't remember the headstock needing any adjustment, the front downtubes on the cradle do need modifying to get the exhaust headers past as the oil and water engines have different cylinder spacing...
  2. And always a PITA to set up without the airbox.. Try blocking the powerjet inlets in the carb mouth, don't use anything permanent but I have done this previously on 38's when running open filters with some success in better running..
  3. Your cat obviously prefers other people to you, I can understand that...
  4. Oh I 'get' charisma, trust me.... I own a Mk1 Bandit, have owned several actually, including Mk2 bandits and they have a lot less charisma/character/soul than ALL of the EFE's ESD's or Slingshots that I have also owned..
  5. Need a proper old skool frame to do that motor and swingarm some justice...
  6. Stunning build and quality is second to none, looking forward to see your choice of paint!
  7. Wow... thats just... wow... did i say... wow... Rear disc is amazing!!
  8. I do believe the 1100L is the best looking GSX-R ever created, nice to see a proper sorted one too well done chap!
  9. Great pics, that is one gorgeous slabby
  10. Let me know if these are any use and we can work something out, is there anything else that you might need from them? Anyone?
  11. Hopefully there will be some pics attached to this! A bit dusty from storage and you can see someone has had a go at the top nuts with either a wrong sized socket or probably a shifter at some point..
  12. I've got a day planned in the garage tomorrow so will dig them out and take a couple of pics
  13. Going by CC's guide there, if the smaller 290mm discs fit the 3.5" wheel then 310mm discs from a slingshot or bandit should fit your 3" wheel, which ones you need will depend on offset for caliper spacing..
  14. Ive got a set of B12 forks here with fubar chrome (leaky)... I can see what condition the adjusters are in if your interested??
  15. Very nice, we all have regrets... Mine is selling all the EFE's Ive had.
  16. No real benefit unless you wanted to use a set of 1100 headers.... Plenty choice of Bandit exhausts, standard headers look nice and fat but they are double skinned, the standard link pipes are heavily baffled also, so choice depends on what performance you're after i suppose. Also, i'm fairly sure the 600 and 1200 headers are the same, no difference in height..
  17. Very nice!.... need more pics
  18. Or have seen people use GSXR 10000 Titanium headers on oilboiler engines, not sure what year is best but these can be had for under £100..
  19. Will depend on what sump you are using Tony, can get brand new Delkevic bandit 12 headers on the bay for under £200...

    My 1100M

Ahh I see it now!, I dont have the standard cooler or forks so guess I will need to just suck it and see what modifications are needed for the mount.. Thanks again!
  21. Cheers Ash, yeah Ive been pretty quiet online, ditched farcebook a while ago and couldnt get used to the temp forum! Great to see so many original OSS'ers still doing what they do best and giving me inspiration to get mine finished...
