Sooo

I Bumped into a Nico Bakker Frame, Nico Bakker is  a well known frame builder here in the Netherlands, racers like agostini, will hartog and so on bought there framesk .

Nico Bakker also does work for manufacturers like BMW (cantilever system), Yamaha (single sided front end) he developt that for them strange enough Nico did not got rich by inventing that for them.

About the frame i bumped into it while i was surfing the web a guy asked what is was really worth and had no time to work on it in fact he had the bike for twenty years and it just stood in the corner.

So i found out where too reach him and gave him a call, after talking for over an hour he said he did not know for sure if he wanted  setoll, he said stop by and we can talk about it.

So i stopped by and took my slabby wich was efi, turbocharged, and that was excactly what his plan was with the bakker wich was my luck. He liked the thought of me building the bike too the specs he wanted for it. It took about tw it for two months until he gave me a call and we talked money i didnt got it for free but its a one of frame so i am not complaining.

Too bad i needed too take apart the slabby for parts.

This is how i got it.

WP front end, WP rearshock, Alloy formula one Bakker Frame, AP Lockheed 4 pistons brakes, PVM frontwheel, Bimota rearwheel.

The bike was build for Aircooled engine but i left the engine with the seller.

And this is the colourscheme i had in mind for it...

So this is how i found it, aircooled lump in there.

Lots of story's where told about the bike but i believe non of them, owner said it's with a Former Heron Bike, then dragraced with a blow through System, another lump 1340 cc was available with an atp draw through system but i cannot believe it was ever in the frame cause it just would not fit with the tank.(wich was leaking at 5 points)

Bought some zx10R wheels hoping i could make them fit the bike, i was Lucky that i could mill of 2,5 cm of the sprocket hanger too get it alligned

So next was too fit the gsxr engine i took from my turboslabby, i felt a bit worried taking out the grinder and hacksaw too make and fit new enginemounts but it needed too be done so i crossed my fingers and started...

What a lovely build. I have a question though. While looking at the pictures...again, I noticed you have a tartan OSS badge on the front mudgaurd. We made these up for the OSS party in Mabie in Scotland a few years ago. I'm  just curious as to how one ended up on your bike. The only Dutchman I know that had one was Rene. Did you get the mudguard from him by any chance?

Hate to crittique but.......

Its not actually doing anything! You are taking spent exhaust, passing it through the gate then back into the exhaust! The inlet to the gate should be from the header collector before the turbine not after!

haha you are fooled by what you see..........

Turbine housing has a wall welded between output and waste gate hole, wastegate hole is widened.

The flange has two holes, first welded on the wastegate later on welded the exhaust around it.

Iff you watch closer you see the wastegate has two 45 degrees bends back tot the turbinehousing

Fastest Build ever next up is wiring, using a M-Lock and a steuerbox from mgm wich makes wiring a bit less complicated

Nice place for ecu, fusebox and M-Lock

oww it works ..

10931369_785912368147464_565357319469722

Got lots of parts anodised wich looks great

10940472_785912594814108_266778157351913

Forgot i also builded an engine before all this, its a fresh engine with new 2d and 3d gear, head and cilinderblok skimmed cr 9:1 1 mm squish.

i used zzr 1100 valvesprings too prevent shims swarling through my engine.

Doing some camtiming 108/110 has been good to me te last few years good long torgue until 8000 rpm

10410486_747665261972175_424984422109065

So engines running of too the painter

Struggling to understand your description! Are you using the std integral wastegate valve hole and routing it internally in the dump pipe and then exit into the external gate? If so, you may suffer with boost spikes - all the twists and turns slow the exhaust bleed off so you get higher boost than the gate is trying to give, so be wary.

Using the internal hole wich is widened too 38 mm, routing it through the downpipe indeed.

This bike is already finished up and running done some miles on it already, have been logging and mapping also. No problems with boostspikes i can tell ya.

I do have some boostcreep but not something too worry about.
