clivegto Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Went to fit the 1127 clutch to the b12 bottom end it didn't fit, so thought I might as well do the coil spring clutch conversion as I have a power screen motor with a coil spring clutch sat in my stash of stuff. Easy enough really just follow UKLees instructions in the vault, although this is the second one I have done now. Just made up a 35x25.5x6mm spacor & fit the various clutch parts together. Have asked gsxrsam to make me a coil spring lockup clutch for this. 2 Quote

clivegto Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Got a LMC starter clutch case from @ibrakeformoosetoday, thanks man. Think it looks better than the NCR case for this as it looks a lot like the scavang pump pick-up case cover in my head. 4 Quote
Blubber Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 And here is me thinking that LMC is a caravan brand. Lord Munsterland Caravan or something very similar. Coat, hanger, door 1 Quote

Not that many about as Factory Pro threatened to sue them, so production stopped of the lsn ones. Edited January 25, 2020 by clivegto Quote

clivegto Posted February 16, 2020 Posted February 16, 2020 (edited) Took 2mm of the k9 sprocket carrier just makes life a bit easier with lining the offset front sprocket up. Edited February 16, 2020 by clivegto 1 Quote
clivegto Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 Made a front wheel spacor tonight, not much of a update but a step forward for a change. 2 Quote
clivegto Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 Had the hole welded up that had been drilled through the top yoke & the Harris engraving. Then that nice man gsxrsam milled it flat again & engraved the Harris logo back where it was originally. 3 Quote
clivegto Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 (edited) Sam also made some fork caps for the top yoke with the Harris logo on them. Edited February 21, 2020 by clivegto 4 Quote

clivegto Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Made some steel buttons up for the hammers to hit against of the lockup clutch. They are top hat in shape & a interference fit in the existing holes of the outer clutch plate. Incase they decided to move have centre punched each one in 4 spots on the back. Quote
clivegto Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Sam had made the fork top's solid so took 30x12mm out from the underside to allow for more fork adjustment, they can sit flush with the top of the top yoke for now. 5 Quote
clivegto Posted March 1, 2020 Posted March 1, 2020 Bit more progress made a top hat spacor to replace the hand full of 0.25mm shims I had sat behind the old top hat spacor so I could centre the back end up. 2 Quote
clivegto Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Thought I best make another one to match the other side but this one is 3mm thick & the other was 6mm. 2 Quote
clivegto Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Got round to finishing the back caliper hanger for the old brembo caliper that Brian McCall aqua blasted & painted in the same stuff as the barrels. Put 2 8mm helicoil in the caliper & whittled the alloy to a pleasing shape to me, the bottom stepped bit sits against the bottom of the swinging arm extensions to stop it spinning round. 4 Quote
