I had a motor from a project i abondoned . The paint on the tank has had some heavy reaction with fuel from the filler and breather so will get breather welded in .

.it will then  need a full re paint in similar colours as i always loved the colour scheme

I wonder what the problem with the tank paint is. Maybe it was painted all the way up to the edge of the filler hole, and fuel then got inbetween the paint and the metal and caused the paint to bubble. This happened to me once. The solution is to leave the surface surrounding the filler hole bare so the gasket sits on bare metal not paint. Anyway, it's a good chassis as FB clearly knows what he is doing.

The paint job is the one thing garry was not happy with . The build quality is bang on , i also bought the mv agusta front calipers with adapter brackets

thanks garry , i am saving to have the paintwork done in winter , you built a cracker from the first picture on your trailer 6 years ago .
