teapot dot head onto a bandit 1200 info req

I've fitted a dot head on a bandit before, what u needing to know?

Bolt it on, nuf said.

When I did this I used GSXR 1100 K cams and slotted the bandit cam sprockets. Then dialled them in.

Ive done 2, both times used 750 j/k cams and heads with standard bandit cam wheels and off they went.. 133 rwhp last time, rev like fek, fun fun fun

I have one, as said just bolts on use b12 cam sprockets in your case my one is on a slabby 1052.

The head on my one has been flowed as well never had it on a dyno but it revs high and goes like shit off a stick.

Teapot cams are a bit soft. So I wouldn't use them.

Stock bandit cams maybe better.

Or preferably 750 J/K or 1100 k cams.

Does the Dot head work just as well with an over-bored motor, or does that chamber shape/squish get a bit marginal as the bore goes out?

Dose anybody know what the dot head on a b12 takes the compression ratio up to?

About 1 1/2 to 2 points up if I remember correctly.

I've done a couple, last one on b12 was 750-j,k head with same cams b-12 cam sprockets, 4-1 system and 36mm carbs, made 130bhp at wheel, But  also finished with uppteron flow job skimmed o,.o05 " , comp was 12:5.1 and 38mm, carbs 4-1 system 84lbs torque, and 147bhp .1157cc and one OSS no bullshit award lol.

well worth the effort but as Si says gsxf cams too soft, you need gsxr-750 j.k or 1100,

Not sure, head can be swapped from shims to locknut if you have spare head parts . Only carried out this on older heads.

Yes, but you have to use the head as a complete set

I have a gsxr 1100r 91. Can I fit a b1200 camhead mk1, and use the gsxr cam from a 90 (and earlier on) ?

Is there hp loss in using a 1200 head?
