1052/1127 base gasket

So using a U704 slabby 1052 bottom end, 1127 powerscreen block which base gasket would you order, will be a cometic or suzuki but which one 1052 or 1127 or are they the same

Have a sneaking suspicion that the liners OD is the same across both models - the Blandit is I believe 1mm bigger - can't confirm though!

If there the same how big can you go on a 1052 block,

Bandit is indeed larger. 

I'm sure 1052 is smaller then 1127 too. I acquired 1052 block by mistake and when I measured up did not feel could even take it to 1216.

I think the biggest you can go on 1052 barrels is 1186cc.

Are the 1052cc barrels not a shorter stroke than the 1127cc?

Unless you're putting a turbo on it

Yes it's getting turbo on it,

Ive got the 1052 bottom end and i think powerscreen block took out to 1186

OD for the sleeves are:

1052 ccm,  82.45 mm

1127 ccm, 84.75 mm

1157 ccm, 85.45 mm

Please, correct me if I am wrong ?

I've used a complete 1100M gasket set on a 750 the base gasket was the same. Check the part numbers on a parts web site and they were the same

 

well apart from the head gasket and starter clutch

1052 cases need to be opened up a bit to fit 1127 barrels...….use 1127 gasket .

Just for giggles not saying either way but this is a 1127 gasket on a 1052 barrel

NOte there my be a hole required between 3&4 IDK but the 750K one has a hole there

 

A 750K gasket on the 1052 barrel

And the 750 laid over the 1127 the 1127 just has a slightly large diameter skirt hole

Good to see all the bits compared together, never had them all together. The 80mm bore with the 58mm stroke of the 1052  bottom end will give a displacement of 1166cc.
