  1. Only the GSX-R750 Slingshot models ('88 - '91) have the clutch operation on the right side of the engine, so they have an undrilled shaft. All the others have a hole in the shaft.
  2. I think it was @yann7/11rwho said that W carbs can be mounted with some clever use of intake rubbers. Yann to the carbs office please
  3. Welcome on OSS. 750W has 38mm carbs, 1100W has 40's.
  4. intake 0,10-0,15, exhaust 0,18-0,23 according to TFM
  5. It does not take long to reach 50 useful posts. Get reading and join some discussions, you will probably enjoy it and learn something. If you're too lazy to do that... spend your few grand elsewhere.
  6. Nice bike. However you need 50 posts to access the OSS marketplace section.
  7. - reversed gearshift (up for 1st) - oil lines on cam caps
  8. move the output shaft while selecting another gear. As TonyGee said, clutch is not needed.
  9. of course it does. The only difference since the last time you started it, is the frame.
  10. The market the bike was originally sold in.
  11. Powerscreen one looks good too
  12. To be really sure, just turbo both engines.
  13. You already asked this question a few days ago in Oilcooled.
  14. I'm sure it's been done before. Looking at you @fatblokeonbandit.
  15. Slabby 18 inchers, Slingshot has 17"
  16. Pics of GS1000 needed. And welcome.
  17. Baboon arse Teapot is how we call them here No EFI but carbs. With the bike in gear and sidestand down the starter should not turn. Clutch always needs to be pulled for starting. That's how it is from the factory. The ignition switch has a 100 ohm resistor built in to prevent hotwiring. If it has been running fine with the toggle switch, it means PO has installed a 100 ohm resistor somewhere. Maybe that has come loose/disconnected somehow. EDIT orange/yellow wire from CDI/ICU should be connected to ground through a 100 ohm resistor. More here.
