@slayer61- have you considered this?

For the money I’d go for the other xr69 on the ‘bay. Alternatively, you could build a helluva gs1000 track special for £20k

Buy this and be done with it

Or dropping the front wheel after a wheelie on every straight! You need to remember Clive exclusively rides turbo bikes. -

Who’s making the pipe? Out of curiosity, how are they going to get perfect fitment with the bike and motor in your garage?

Rwu front ends don’t get much tricker than this…

Not sure on the gauge, I’d guess same thickness as the swinger.

A photo or 3 would probably help jog some jumbled memories…

Brake side hub looks homemade. I’d suggest a long screw driver through the axle hole and onto the rear of the bearing on the opposite site hub if that makes sense. Then gently tapped with a mallet. Im guessing the aluminium hub has corroded itself onto the aluminium centre tube. Gently tap it with a copper/hide hammer should also help, spinning it on each tap. Pics of the rest of the bike?

Short answer- not sure. Long answer- have a chat with Brian at Centurion. He was involved with this build (Gloria) Coolest GS750 out there. Prove me wrong .
