  1. this might help ? looks like the later models went with conventional forks !!!! yours has the 96 plastics. Suzuki RMX250 - CycleChaos
  2. still available from japan but not cheap !!!! 12833-06B00-000 Suzuki Spring 1283306B00000, New Genuine OEM Part | Eblag I wonder how different a B12 spring is from the GSXR ? and they are only £8
  3. thats just taking the piss how do they justify that price ?????
  4. might have to get the washers out
  5. I guess you haven't got the V5 ? do you know if its a UK bike or an import ? the RMX had USD forks as well
  6. im after one as well !!!! keep checking the bay for new and used parts. one good thing with suzuki's is a lot of parts are interchangeable from model to model.
  7. Pilot jet(s) blocked
  8. cheers yeah the engines are basically the same but I would use the VIN number if you order any parts, just in case.
  9. VERY basically the 1100E from 1980 - 83 shares the same basic engine and frame but have different bodywork. yours is like the MK2 version. I have an 1100E"T" 1980 which has the more squarer bodywork that ran for 3 years. my "ET"
  10. yeah but the old shit gives an engine character
  11. you will need some sort of tools for the job, once you've done a few they are easy enough
  12. why would you want to put all that electrictrickery shit on a classic air cooled engine ????????
  13. nah, you could still get your monkey bikes in
  14. anything looks better than them
  15. must be in touch with his feminine side
  16. Suzuki say dry, but make sure the surfaces are clean and dry.
  17. some suzuki's use a 3 pin diode (bandit) in the harness, don't know if you have one in yours but if you put it in backwards theirs no spark. ????? just a thought.
  18. first thing I check is if their is 12V at the coils, if so its an ignition problem. if not its no battery voltage. just helps to what side of the harness to check.
  19. I think most CV carbs are a P.I.T.A. without their airbox I remember pulling the snorkel of a B12 once and it ran like shit !!!!! it went back on pretty sharpish.
  20. looks a bit better, the gsxr spindle will be way to big for the gs wheel bearings and I dont know if you could find the right bearings to match ?????? but you could reduce the hole in the forks to take the gs spindle with the right size spacers.
