Just remember I can count the teeth as is, and it's got 30 teeth

I will remove it tomorrow and see how many teeth I've got
it's been quiet some time since I got the Geny so not 100% but I'm thinking it's a MK2 b6 one I have

Ok all,
Sarted to sort the clutch out on the Hellcat,
MK1 b12 engine and clutch
MK2 b6 harness (not that that matters
)
Mk2 b12 (I was told) Geny.
Problem I have is the clutch basket won't go in, the Geny sprocket is to big. Or seems to big.
So does anybody know if the MK1 and MK2 Geny sprockets are a different size on the 1200 ?
And to make sure, is the mk2 b6 sprocket a different size to the MK1 b12 ?
Any help

Do you have Eblag or Amazon?
If so there will be sellers on there I would think, over here there's pages of sellers
-
Don't know if the above would send other to you?
But like @TonyGee I make my own, all the bits can be got off the net and if you've not done it before there's lots of YouTube videos to help

I know that EZ/ED/EFE switches fit oilcooled motors, I had one on my B12 engine, connected to EFE clocks. I think 850 ones are the same size.
Only needs a re-arrangement of the pins in the connector because the switch drum turns the other way round.

Gs650 is smaller about 25mm instead of APX 35mm where the o ring fits.

I used the neutral?gear indicator from a GS 850 for a Bandit 400. It was then connected to a led display from online store.
Do you know the size of the switch?
Thinking if it would fit a oil cooled motor?

Yep the Inazuma has left the fold...its been ridden around the York area by its new owner... am at present in negotiations for an accident damaged Bandit 1200 from the back of mi mates garage.. but while im awaiting that project T595 Triumph Daytona gets delivered tomorrow.
But the TD won't see any pages on here

There are two different 750 top ends so if you go that way make sure you get the one with the same stroke, as the other one won't fit
I swapped the barrels on a project (project see how far we go gs550 to b6) .

I get my seat covers off begay, theirs a seller on their that sells good quality covers but not cheap, ive had a few off them but at £45 a time. just as good as OEM i think.
Last cover I had done, not a standard seat was £95 and that was about 8+ years ago and I was not happy with the end result.
I did order one off the bay for the standard seat on the gsx1157et and apart from my bad fitting was very happy with it (may be the same seller as yours) as the was £45 but well worth the money.

I think there was a place in the traders section, for the seat.

Cheepest way as above, get a gsxr/gsxf1127 or a 1052 or a b12 put that in your 600 frame
been done on here a though times, so the info is in here somewhere.
You could get some 1052 pistons and bore sleeves fit them to your 600 barrels but that's going to cost. You'd also need a 750 head etc etc etc
-
If you've removed the plastic lug (why do people do this ?) As above ever rap with tape or drill both switch gear and bars, I've used a chopped off part of a rivet before works a treat.

@DAZ may help in your thoughts. Just re measured the the length of my project front spindle to rear (rear set half way on adjuster) running gsxr600 srad front end, gsxr1000k2 swingarm.
It's 56 1/2" or 1435mm

I once bought a oil boiler 1277cc which had solid front engine mounts lightly welded into the case.
I could of sworn that someone was making them, Grumpy 1260?
Or it may of just been a post I read

Many years ago I ran a CB900f with a full, ex works, RSC996 engine (dry clutch, close box, the lot). Funny thing was, it handled far better despite having waaaay more BHP...............solid mounted engine rather than rubber mount. You could convert a GSXR/B12 engine to solid mount to help brace the frame. Another trick they used in AMA Superbike was to weld in the removable frame rail
(unless you had a "works" frame which were actually a lightweight copy of a stock frame.
Didn't someone make the rubber mounts in billet ?

Welcome to OSS
There's been a couple of gsx600f projects in the project section over the last year or so, so always worth a good look through.
There's been people just revamping them to the other end people putting the 1100 motors in with USD forks and big back wheels.
All depends on how far you want to go and what your fab skills are like?
Also look under teapot as that's what we call them

I've never had a bandit frame or bike so can't say what the weight difference is but looking at what I have a pics of bandit frames, I would think the gsxf frame would be a bit stiffer.
Like you say, it would be interesting to know
And everybody has a bandit
I remember when the 600 teapot first came out and it was supposed to be in the same category as the cbr600 fzr600 etc so must have something about them?
