I think the main difference is the body work, tank and tail piece

I used something similar the these Eblag ones. My front engine mount is an aluminum plate with a hole drilled through Hole drilled through and a aluminum rod bolted on. the aluminum is drilled out so that the metal part at the end of the slider fits inside, and the slider id bolyed to the aluminum rod.
Yep, there the ones I've used on the hellcat

I will sort some pics tomorrow
Can't remember what they where made for, one set is on my project gsx1100f Hellcat and the other on my project kat part errrr.
The ones on the hellcat where some cheepo Eblag ones

Don't think they make bolt on kits for the air cooled bikes.
I just got some off the bay and made my own plates up.

As above, the two lines/pipes at the rear going to the bottom of the carb/flot boals are fuel pipes.
The one at the top front near the choke is the vacuum pipes. This will need to go to the tape vacuum or be blanked off (M4 bolt dose the trick)
The others are air/overflow pipes that will need to let to vent but you don't need the pipes if you don't want.
There was only two bikes with these carbs,
1. Gsxr1100 g/h/j
Or the gsx1100f
The 1100f had (like yours) two fuel line pipes and a cable and handle bar leaver choke.
The gsxr had one fuel line pipe and a pull choke (like yours ) but you can very easily swap the cable choke to the pull bar type.
Best way to find out, can you see the numbers printed on the side of the carbs?
If not get yourself a manual (Haynes gsxr 88-90 covers the gsxf) and check the pilot jet sizes, as they where different between the two bikes.

Don't know your skills, so start from the beginning.
Can you adjust the drive chain?
After that, just ask the questions you need on the part you're looking at doing.
Really before you start going into the world of upgrading parts you/we need to know your basic skill level wouldn't like to tell you to put a different wheel in if you've just got to grips with chain tension.

Yes I've used the same one as FBB has, with bandit switch gear. They are better but I ended up get a cheep Chinese QA off the bay and a YZF600 switch gear, so you keel the same spacing.

Probably easier to just put the gsxr slabside front end on.

I assume you mean plates to relocate calipers?

Sort answer for a straight bolt in bolt out.
No.
The rear you can put ever the gsx1100efe rear wheel in or gsxr750/1100 slabside that are 18" the front is a bit more of a problem with calipers etc. Can be done with plates made up.

If I remember the 400t had twin discs?
If so you can use anything really that has a twin disc, even gsx/gsxf/gsxr/bandits

If you look inside the housing/threaded bit on the engine, you will see the cable has a small spring around the wire cable part.
You need the pull this spring towards the nipple end of the cable so it clears the mount/housing on the engine. Then the wire cable will come out.
It's a tite and a fiddle job

Yes headers are interchangeable, you just need to swap oil sump, oil pickup and some say oil return pipes.
Sumps from any of the oil cooled with a standard 4-1 will fit straight on THE only down side is you may also need to alter your oil lines to the cooler.

Can't see a problem with a sleeve, as above it the bearing's that are moving not the spinal, or theses something very wrong

Welcome to OSS
Like most things, anything will fit with work but if you just want a plug and play, as above will do the job.
The gs850/1000g won't be to far off but not 100% fit.
All depends on how you want the bike to look.

Where to start
First. DOT head, yes the ports are at a different angle so yes you may have carb clearance (see the sticky thread at the top carbs and carb rubbers )
The gsxr 1127 head won't give you any more power but the cams will, or just sell both heads and get some gsxr1100/750 cams and put them in the b12 head plug and play (just swap you cam sprockets)
As to the clutch, isn't the 1127 clutch a diaphragm clutch anyway?
If so no real point and I think the drive gear on the back of the basket is different, I maybe very wrong on this clutch bit. Heard many people saying they are running a standard b12 clutch with a engine of 120-150 rwbhp

Any major issues with fitting? I’m guessing lockstops had to be made?
Lock stops as normal, and off the shelf bears from all ball racing, no need to swap stems, I think it's in my project Hellcat build.

Maybe he's murican and thus refers to antiquated units of measurement: e.g. a reduction from 120 to 100 C is a 36 degree reduction in F.
Well I suppose we are Oldskool

Why do you need to reduce the temp by 50° that would mean the engine is always running nearly cold?

If you're wanting to keep the standard swingarm and forks, you're looking at ever a gsxr750 4.5" rim (early slingshot) or a bandit 600 (MK1 has 4" rim MK2 I think has a 4.5" rim?)
Use the caliper hanger for whatever wheel you use and you should be able to use your caliper. Which ever you will need to remake wheel spacers.
Front is a bit more difficult, I'd look at say a b6 or rf600 front wheel (you may need the Speedo drive) you will need to sleeve down the bearings/spindle hole, as your spindle is smaller. You will also need to make mounting plate for the calipers but at this point you could put some nice nissan 4 pots on.
Or the other way is to just change the front and rear ends
@Rene EFE has just put a bigger rear wheel in and change the front on his gsxf in the projects section
Which tanks fit a GS frame

As Tony says yes BUT only if they are the UK or USA tanks. Both will fit/swap each other but look different.
