  1. I’d take them off, and ultra-sonic them. Just done the neighbours ...night & day!
  2. What site did you download this info from?
  3. Have you felt the weight of the bloody things? Good excuse to get rid!
  4. Seller replied. Says the gaskets come in packs of 10, hence quantity under part no. on label. Part no. label stays with main pack. I’m inclined to believe this, as I think Suzuki would despatch individual gaskets to dealer in correct packaging with separate part no. label? Says he will amend listing to show this.
  5. And not listed as spare part. What’s up with the originals then?
  6. Messaged. Waiting for reply.
  7. Well, I totally agree with you lads. Smells fishy! Gonna give him a bell.
  8. @no classI just went on Robinsons and Ron Ayers websites, and put the part no in. Doesn’t exist! Correct part no ends in 01 ... not 10! Shoulda done this before buying. Any other opinions?
  9. Anyone confirm this is genuine Suzuki? Multi-layered gasket. Eblag buy @ £54 all in. Listed with photo showing gasket and gen Suzuki part no label. Arrived today with no part label. Genuine or pattern?
  10. Cheaper finding a donor engine, maybe?
  11. Cheers boys! There’s only about a fiver difference in the price.
  12. I’ve heard I can substitute the paper base gasket of the 1100ET/EX for the later metal gasket of the EFE. Is this correct, and is there any advantage?
  13. Any excuse! It comes out today!
  14. This foam bollocks inside the sprocket cover? Is it worth leaving it in? Does it actually work? It seems to just be a shite magnet!
  15. I know GS750 ones are the same as GSX1100ET/EX ones. Maybe 750 will fit 1000 tank?
  16. Anyone know if 750J/K casing will fit Mk1 B12?
  17. Short of knowing swingarm length, how about comparing 750/1100 wheelbases?
  18. @Bongo_HI have an 1100ET engine stripped down. If you pm me your shaft (ahem) measurements, I’ll measure mine () for comparison. Won’t happen until Monday though.
  19. Try a smear of Engineers Blue on the taper. That’ll show you what the contact area is.
  20. Might pay you to leave the cover off temporarily, turn the motor over, and see what’s not right?
  21. Small tank looks nice with clip-ons.
