  1. I was thinking they had to be kawasaki rims ? Did it get converted to Suzuki power at some point ?
  2. So would that be a screw and nut rocker 1127 ? I had a quick look, the part fiches indicate code E18 and E39 for the cylinder head (specific to switzerland and austria) E04 (french code) appears for a specific exhaust header. Cannot find the carburetor microfiche to check the specifics but the french market didn't have a different cylinder head
  3. Ah well i was given the wrong info at some point. good to have photos i can identify the ones i have
  4. Wasn't it the ears on the fork tubes that were different between a 750 and 1100 due to the change in disc diameter ?
  5. The caliper part numbers are different but the piston part numbers are the same. Don't what the difference is in the caliper body (paint code maybe) but the bolt spacing is the same so i'm pretty certain they are interchangeable. Someone more knowledgeable will be able to confirm
  6. Ah true ! Also just remembered if the earth connections of the bike aren't overall great (not only the indicator ones), it can do that kind of thing
  7. No point asking now but didn't you remove the plugs and turn it by hand ?
  8. Unicorn Japan or Magical Racing probably, they do all sorts of carbon body parts for the katana There are some in real carbon ones on Amazon too but cannot find the suppliers website
  9. French GSXR oil cooled versions were restricted with spacers under the carb caps (preventing the slides full open travel) And inside the exhaust header there were restrictors at the entry reducing the diameter of the pipes. So in the case of a french bike basically with an aftermarket exhaust (who runs a stock one anyway) and 15 minutes on the carbs it's good to go with full HP, but i doubt there still exists a restricted oil cooled GSXR on the road in France anyway
  10. 20.50€ + vat at CMSNL for the right side and 19.50€ for the left so round about half the cost there compared to Orange squash price
  11. Funny because it's not really something that goes wrong, but maybe. Voltage is getting to all the points in the indicator system ?
  12. Have you tested the voltage of the system ? Corrosion on the spade terminals, etc Eblag or any Aftermarket bike parts shop will indeed have them cheap, just make sure you get one with the right connector
  13. Definitely going to be the most awesome bike project ever built on here, i can't wait to see it finished
  14. Reminds of the ZX12R i used to commute with, its shod with a 200 from the factory but most downsize them with 190s in order to properly use the capacities of the bike
  15. No it just means that generally speaking tyre sizes in real life can turn out different. I wouldn't assume any kind of fitment guaranteed for this kind of project just by going by the data you could find online Judging by the description of your project I was expecting a few more outstanding parts/setups. But still it will be a nice bike when completed I know what you mean when you say "i want what i thought out" and bikes are tricky, 10mm in some areas of a build make all the difference, but regarding your tyre project i think it is not worth the extra headaches involved, you've got a lot to deal with already
  16. 180 Dunlops are usually around 188mm in real life, for example
  17. The commas should be on "aggressive", not "looks". Nobody will feel any fear/awe over 10mm extra rubber when seeing your bike You will definitely be better off fitting the correct size of tyres for the rims you have.
  18. I have no idea. But it sounds like you're on the right track
  19. Oh well you already knew why
  20. I have one but i checked on it and the tank and lid are slightly warped i guess 40 years of UVs and brake fluid sorted that out
  21. Basic question, but how rideable are these setups (talking about the more reasonable 230-250 hp bikes shown above) ? I'm thinking spirited riding mode ON, speeding up to a bend, brakes, downshift, revs go up, turbo kicks in due to exhaust surge, and so you're lifting the front wheel while on the angle you're leaning over to take said bend ? Thats basically what caused the Renault Super 5GT turbo for example to go in straight lines when cornering back in the day
  22. Posting an ad in the wanted section might help too
  23. Nah save the time, I'm sure that as they are they can already take an unexpecting pedestrians limb off
