  1. Fitted the fuel return & tractor petrol tap to the tank. Also fitted the fuel cap, had to put a slit in the retaining ring to get it inside the tank. It has a Cork seal which is smothered in blue hylomar, also there is no paint round the bolt holes to stop petrol weeping under the paint.
  2. Never seen any dyno figures of before and afterwards with them so who knows.
  3. Possibly but I picked a set of K2 headers up for £25 + they weight nearly nothing.
  4. Don't know, a turbo rebuild shop made my hybrid one up for me after talking to him about the type of power and performance I wanted for my Harris build.
  5. Caliper spacors that came with my hel calipers I used to space the yam calipers out on the K5 forks were narrower than the mounting points which looked odd to me. So I ordered some 25mm billet bar to make some up myself on my little lathe. Looks much better now I think.
  6. Could you put the old bearing shell back in then cut the bar out you welded in and weld another bar in at 90° to the first one to push the overall headstock round again. Just a thought.
  7. That's bad luck, the ring of mig weld didn't do that to my one.
  8. Hybred vf22 have a vf23 as well. Got 260hp on my Turbo Scratcher with a tdo4l. They are titchy.
  9. Got my last engine vapour blasted then got Brian McCall of centurion motorcycle projects to paint it with his special paint, it's the same stuff they use on helicopter engines.
  10. Got the 525 44 tooth back sprocket and the 525 chain turned up as well. Set about whittling the 530 17 tooth offset sprocket down to 525, end result came out alright.
  11. This one is not that big but hopefully it will make around 300hp.
  12. Adapted a set of b12 throttle cables to fit under the tank.
  13. Won't lie it wasn't easy. Dave Dunlop or Pete Field would probably make you some up.
  14. Yes, I made these jus using a mig and angle grinder. Not the prettiest but will do the job and you get the satisfaction knowing you made them yourself.
  15. To make a bit more room I took another 1.5mm of the k9 sprocket carrier and 1.5mm of the front sprocket spacor. Loads more room now lol, still doing the 525 chain conversion though.
  16. Thanks bud, just need to put the rest of it back together and make loom up easy
  17. 530 chain is quite close to the frame so have ordered 525 chain and 44 tooth back sprocket. Will wiz 1.68mm off the stepped 17 tooth 530 one to make it into a 525. This gearing should give me a top speed of 196.8mph at 10000 revs which is more about loading the engine and turbo not so much about going that fast
  18. I will use that style for some things @Dezza
