Orion Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Hi this is my first time on this forum I have a 1985gsx750es I would like to know what forks would fit this bike without to much alteration as every body keeps telling me the anti dive does not work and you cant get parts for it I’ve seen some forks with what looks like tiny gas cylinders any help would be great full Quote
Sheep Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Hi and welcome to the madhouse....If you take the time to have a gander in the archives you will find all about fork swap combo's...some invaluable info in there.... Next things is pics....OSS likes pictures Quote
KATANAMANGLER Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Welcome. Front end swaps are dependent on stem length and whether you can get bearings to suit your headstock outer diameter and the new stem diameter. Other considerations are fork length. It's easier to change the complete front end for something with a 17 wheel and and decent brakes. Then you'll have to do the same with the back. Rustynail Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Welcome along, I’ve put a complete front end from a GSXR750 on my ES. Quote
Swiss Toni Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Welcome to OSS, Orion. As the boys say, there's loads of front end swaps out there. Just measure your fork length extended, and take it from there. Might need a stem change, or you might get lucky, and it's just a bearing change. The worlds your lobster! Quote
