Cheeky4648 Posted August 26, 2017 Author Posted August 26, 2017 Got rid of the cr--y pod filters! Replaced with pipercross all in one filter. Runs cleaner through the bottom end. 3 Quote
Dezza Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 Does it have an invisible rear brake caliper? Anyway, what make is the rear master cylinder? It is hard to make out but it looks like it has a dinky integral fluid reservoir that I like Quote
Cheeky4648 Posted August 26, 2017 Author Posted August 26, 2017 Hi dezza. Yes it has a hidden rear caliper. Got it from a UK site. Just bandits I think:-/ the rear master and restarts are from racefit but I think you can get the master cyl from various dirtbikes. Its a brembo unit. 2 Quote
markfoggy Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Those wheels are ridiculous in he best possible way. Quote
Cheeky4648 Posted August 28, 2017 Author Posted August 28, 2017 You know what they say. If you go big go ridiculous. Lol Went a bit for with a lot of it. :-) Quote
baldrick Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 looks great, nice job. A lot of thought has gone into it. what are the rear shock from, out of interest Quote
Cheeky4648 Posted August 29, 2017 Author Posted August 29, 2017 Thanks! Its taken a long time. The shocks are just generic cheapies off e y , when I know they are the right length I'll get some wilbers or online for her. 1 Quote
Cheeky4648 Posted August 29, 2017 Author Posted August 29, 2017 Thanks guys. Goes well too. Pulls smooth from idle to around 6000. Not taking it any higher than that until I get some more miles on her. Thought I'd have more messing to do with the carbs due to all the engine mods but working out well at the moment Quote
Cheeky4648 Posted August 29, 2017 Author Posted August 29, 2017 Got to get my post count up to go in the for sale wanted section Bits for next project needed. Lol Headers coming on. Need to get more heat in them Quote
Dukeman Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Like... wheels look ace. Was the tank filler mod difficult? Quote
Cheeky4648 Posted August 30, 2017 Author Posted August 30, 2017 Thanks the mod was not too difficult when I ordered the filler from racefit they sent me the tapped plate and an oval piece to make the upright portion. Just a matter of sculpting the upright to fit the shape of the tank and then welded it all together. Tog welded it using silicon bronze rod so less heat to distort tank. Just another pic. 1 Quote

Cheeky4648 Posted August 31, 2017 Author Posted August 31, 2017 Glad I'm in florida and don't have to put up with those huge number plates we used to have to use. Quote
Cheeky4648 Posted August 31, 2017 Author Posted August 31, 2017 Thanks Another bit of bling but useful. Holds 2 pints more oil now. 1 Quote
