  2. What do you run on the intake side of your mixer? In case you still have the stock airbox, you might want to get rid of it because tricky to match bandit carbs or similar. Double k&n pods kinda work well.
  3. Using 750 oil pump gears on the big engines gives higher oil flow by different ratio.1100 ccm engines have 33 : 34 teeth750 ccm engines have 29 : 38 teeth the pump is the same. Changing the gears is a straight swap.

    Phew, pretty multidimensional thing that is. Took the left hand side as a template so for right hand side mirrorwise. Will also try to post some pics.

    At least my EFE got one, but not running, as it is my future project for times of retirement. Why?

    Output shaft is bored. Which you can use for a liquid actuated clutch conversion if you want to go that route. I'm not sure about slightly different ratio but someone will. Just wait.
  12. As for your question about headers: I use a BOS system on one of my Katanas. Bought it off a 1st generation B12, for which it was meant to be. Just a 2nd set of header gaskets and it is a nice fit. Collector is just enough at the right hand side to have the oil drain plug in reach.
  13. Asking for oem parts on a site where people like to customize their bikes is always a good idea. You take scrap metal off us. Welcome, bud.
  14. You are sure you tried the Akra system for the oilcooled engines and not first generation watercooled? These can also be made fit but these very headers are off angle a bit plus foul the front frame member. I'm working on such a system for my current project. Akra systems for 1st gen. B12 engines always went on nicely.
  15. You can take aftermarket systems from Akrapovic or BOS for 1200 Bandits or oil cooled 1100 GSXRs. Just be prepared to modify either link pipe.
  16. Ignitech from Czechia might be a good option.
  17. We've got a fellow Katana rider in Denmark, Søren is his name. Dunno if he is still on here, but a few years back I saw him do a how-to-video opening a fuel cap lock within seconds. I bet the video can be found on you tube. If not, I got his mobile no. Can ask him for a link if he still got that vid.
