richyrich Posted July 17, 2017 Share Posted July 17, 2017 Loses oil to a point. But not all the oil, cos the sprocket and gear shaft is higher than sump i suppose. It smells hot and im not comfortable with it. Can i ignore this or will it Get worse. Really dont wanna take the motor out again. Can i change a seal with it where it is? Quote Link to comment
no class Posted July 17, 2017 Share Posted July 17, 2017 easy fix.....remove sprocket and bushing......pop the old seal out...clean the area good......put a new one in . make sure you put it in straight .....gentle taps until fully seated . big socket works great if you don't have a seal driver . 3 Quote Link to comment
