short stroke j/k crank in a b12 or gsxr1100 engine?

Just to ask the question. Anybody ever do this and can it work? Just because ridiculous oversquare fun. and end up with some weird 800 or 900 something displacement.

I think the mains are different sizes on the 1127 and 1152 motors. The j/k crank will fit the 1052 cases though.  Set off busa 81mm pistons gives 921cc.

Interesting! Are the J/K and 'Busa small ends the same size though?

Something tells me you would want to use bandit or busa rods anyway. That would be sweet if busa rods work.  long rod short stroke. nice straight piston pulls. 

Now I have another related noob question. You could probably afford to raise the rev limiter from stock 1052 perhaps? Which part do I change to do that. Like perhaps use the 88 750 ignition thingy.

shit imean the 1052 rods... right you may want to use the 1052 rods...

if you fit a dyna 2000  ignition, it has an adjustable rev limiter, theres a dial on the side you turn to raise or lower it, i think max revs it will take is 12k rpm, would think that is enough.

Use the 750 cdi to raise the rev limit, bare in mind the heavier pistons and rods will stress stuff more. 

Don't get why people use the Dyna 2000 ign.  Ignitech are half the price and have far more functionality.

Didn't the later Busas run larger little ends?

gen 2 is 18mm small ends , gen 1 is 20mm

Have read in the past people boring the short stroke 19mm little end out to 20mm. It is only 0.5mm of each side but never heard if it worked. I also seem to remember someone making bushes to get the 18mm pin to fit the 20mm little end. Would love to know if it worked.
