clivegto Posted Saturday at 06:40 PM Author Posted Saturday at 06:40 PM (edited) So I may have acquired a Kwak JMC arm from Bridlington today and a slingshot arm with JMC slots and brace welded on from Southern Yorkshire Land earlier in the week. Edited Saturday at 06:41 PM by clivegto 3 Quote
clivegto Posted Saturday at 07:17 PM Author Posted Saturday at 07:17 PM The 1100 slabby one I took out of the chocolate box project is interesting as it has a eccentric ride hight adjuster. As does the one I picked up today. 3 Quote

Think it’s a custom tank I know that bike, previously owned by a thieving scrote who tried to steal some parts off a mates bike. I presume he sold it on not long after as he would of inevitably got rammed off it. It didnt have the sidewinder or USD from end then though, think it had a RSV seat unit on it. I had a JMC framed z900 for a bit, have to say compared to other aftermarket frames it was shite, i found it very cramped and after a few laps of a trackday i broke it and sold it as it handled like it was hinged in the middle. There was one for sale local to me last year, 750 slabbie lump and running gear, £500, no takers. 1 Quote

Late 90's if my addled brain is right, the trackday was a corporate event when i was doing a bit of work for MCN. I lost a lot of stuff in a workshop fire but i'll have a look and see if i have any pictures. I know after i sold it, it had a 750 slingshot motor put in it, cant remember the frame number but it did still have the WP shock in it when i sold the roller to a chap from Norfolk way. 1 Quote

clivegto Posted Tuesday at 06:05 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 06:05 PM Aquired a set of adjustable supper bike yokes of kwaka fitment I was going to use on another project even got Sam to make me a stepped yoke for the setup but plans changed as they do. I'd now like to use them on the JMC frame with a set of Gsxr 1000k8 forks which measure 50/56 & the yokes measure 52/58. Ordered some aluminum tube and made spacers up so the forks fit the yokes. Just need slots cutting into them now to fit the forks. 8 Quote
