Expensive stuff tends to help with modulation. Like a good connection between the effort you put in and the retardation it gives. As for raw stopping power the friction rate of the pads is also important.

Don't like the Slabside suspension setup on this so I'm going to use this NWS swinging arm. Got my mate Will to weld a scallop in to make clearance for the 6 inch R1 wheel with a 190 tyre fitted B|IMG_20241023_185250.thumb.jpg.20a37042c8b3fbdde32abcd4c0635522.jpg IMG_20241023_185331.thumb.jpg.fee0a13d10ef5096663ca04ca387f6c5.jpg

If you get bored there's a little bit of info here on plenum and intake design. O.o

Cheers, have done research on the subject in the paste :tu this'll be the 4th one I've made and it's more abut getting it to fit the frame rather than the perfect design, sill got'a work though.

Bit more done on it just need Will to do a little blue gun action again. IMG_20241028_144352.thumb.jpg.cbc43ee8b9f1ba712e5a8cb5ec29794a.jpg IMG_20241028_162919.thumb.jpg.b1edfe2a503db0ecd34ec0b2f2e80d9a.jpg  IMG_20241028_162948.thumb.jpg.aaabd1adaba5da73006ea3000a0582c3.jpg IMG_20241028_162901.thumb.jpg.fd9900a8b1d9bc1a8d8d358f2937adfe.jpg

That post was tongue in cheek tbh, the info goes waay beyond anything that we'd be likely to need or do. It's interesting but unless you're doing a scratch build for a full race set up not really relevant. As you say, the first priority is for it to fit otherwise it's just an ornament.

A lot of people over think it which just isn't necessary for it to work well. Saying that though Mr @no classmade a fantastic one for his kat on hear.
